'Math(s)' is the shortened form of 'mathematics'. The word mathematics comes from Classical Greece, and means ' to learn '.

English is a communicative language. It has a structure known as 'Grammar'.

The word ' Grammar' again comes from Classical Greece, Because the Classical Greeks were the first civilisation to structure their language, into nouns, verbs, sentences etc.,

In England a school that is described as a Grammar School teaches Classical Greek, and Latin , and also teaches the structure of the English language. (A Greek/Grammar teaching School).
