2 screws on the door handle. if u have manual windows like i do, pop it off using a flat head and theres a torx screw hold it on..i believe its a t20 or t25. after that the whole panel just lifts off.

I called Mazda and they have confirmed a 2001 Mazda 121 has a factory fitted immobiliser.

You can test them with an Ohm meter. Make sure all 4 have the same resistance or if no resistance then you've found the bad one(s).

It's your ECM. Sure maybe you got a vaccum line unhooked but I'd bet money on the ECM.

locate the casting that contains the thermostat and separate it's cover. the old unit should be observed while it is in place in order that it's replacement is installed right side up. any old gasket material that may be stuck on the castings needs to be removed and the seal surfaces trued. follow the upper radiator hose to the engine and you will locate the casting that the thermostat is housed in.

The Tribute can tow up to 3500 lbs. If the Mazda 3 + any trailer you hitch it to is less than that, yea.

Base ignition timing is 5 degrees advanced +/- 1 degree. I've attached some links below for additional information.

The straight bar going from gear stick to gear box is possibly bent.. Or not bolted on.. There are two bars between gear stick and the gearbox check both of them

In order to get to it you will need to drop the tank, but make sure it is as close to empty as possible. Then you remove the fuel sending unit, being careful not to damage the systems seal. The filter is located at the bottom of the system, it is a retangled metal screen. A new filter can be purchased at Auto Zone for about $22.00.
