It depends on what things in a game you look for most. If you want graphics, lots of shooting action, or a realistic difficulty, Pacific Assault has that. If you want lots of suspense, wide variety of missions, good multiplayer (with decreasing numbers, unfortunately) or a tank mission, Allied Assault can do that. Rising sun is the scariest game in the Medal of honor series. It's set during the Pacific war. It starts at Pearl harbor and then goes to the Philippines and Donnie gets captured. Afterwards you land in Guadalcanal in August 1942 and you have to find an airfield. In October 1942 you rescue POW from the Philippines that later cross a bridge and get blown up and fall down a cliff. The year after that your in Singapore and you met a British guy and a American Japanese man. You crash a German officers car and steel his uniform and go to a hotel for a meeting. You met Shima and a Russian man who was kicked out of Russia. They talk about a lost Buddhist temple somewhere near India. The German officer that survived the car crash comes in and yells at everyone. Then you need to escape from the Hotel and the year after you go to Burma and go to an ancient Buddhist temple. You discover gold and rescue a pilot and escape on a helicopter and the temple gets blown up. 3 months later you fall out of a plane and end up in Thailand. You ride an elephant and derail a train on a bridge and the day after you go onboard a Japanese aircraft carrier and sabotage the ships engines and you get captured and get rescued. You go into the crews quarters and make it to the ships bridge and you take of in a plane and sink the carrier and in the end which you don't get to see. You rescue Donnie and Shima gets killed and later the pacific war ends when atomic bombs destroy Japan.
