Well this is happening to me this exact moment.... The doctor gave me provera to help my period come down... I'm not sure if this will help on the long run because this happened to me last year and now I'm in the same situation.... Just take the the pills and hopefully it will help your period come down every month regularly

Well I am sorry sweetie but I am not a doctor but I could tell you that if you haven't gotten your period in 6 months its time to do something about it! I would go to the store and buy a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant! And if you are pregnant or not you need to be seen by a doctor asap! If you are not pregnant there are many disease or even cancer that may make you not have a period so you really need to get a pap smear! So I say just make an appt with your doctor if you don't have insurance there is the health department that will help you! YOU REALLY NEED TO BE SEEN BY A DOCTOR IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NOT! First off, why are you complaining? To some women 5 days is a blessing! Every woman is different in how their cycles are. Me for instance I am lucky, mine only last 2 to 4 days on average, however mine are extremely painful. Most women's cycles last anywhere from 3 to 8 days. So you are perfectly normal. Smile now..no worries! And remember, that's what parents are for, don't be afraid to talk to your mother, she's gone through her cycle as well, and probably still does. It's a good thing to open up to her and let her give you that motherly advice.
