How do you get Wavebuster in Metroid Prime?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Required: Spider Ball, Boost Ball, Wave Beam, Space Jump, Missile launcher (At Least 35 on ammo)

Go to Chozo Ruins Main Plaza. Go through the first door on the left (Entering from elevator Near Landing sight, the first elevator you went up). Go through the tunnel, turning into morph ball to avoid the exploding things. Go through the door at the end of tunnel. You'll find yourself in the room where you first defeated the Plated Beatle. Defeat the Chozo Ghosts in the room and look back at the door you entered. Up on the ledge in front of it is a half pipe. Use your boost ball to get up on either ledge. Go into the tunnel. The tunnel on one side will lead you to a missile expansion, while the one on the other side will lead to a magnetic rail. Get the expansion, and then use the magnetic rail to get to a ledge with a purple door on it. go through the next tunnel and emerge from another purple door at the end (Or missile door. I don't remember, because I'm at impact crater and got the wavebuster along time ago). A cut scene will introduce you to the Sun Chamber. Jump up on the platform above the water and look UP at the stone blocks holding up the wall. There are four total around you. Destroy each one with Three missiles. This will lower yet another set of platforms. But jump on them quickly because PLATED puffers come at you below (These are vulnerable only to missiles. Waste no missiles on them or you won'get the wave buster). The next four stone blocks are more tricky becaus Ocucalies are on them, Which are invunerable, and missiles will bounce off them. Take your time in destroying the stone blocks while avoiding hitting the creatures. Again the platforms will lower and plated puffers will come out. Repeat this process once more, and then get to the top and claim your prize: The Wave Buster. After that simply jump off. Try not to land on the platforms. You should land in water, and if so use the ramp to get back up to the door. If not, Then you will be at the door. Samus will grunt on ground impact, but health will not drop. Retrace your steps from there (Yes, there will be more Chozo Ghosts in the first room to defeat).

How do you get the good ending on Metroid prime hunters?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Strangely enough it's not based on the amount of items or time unlike other metroid games. What you have to do is, when you're in the room with gorea's first stage, you will notice that it's surrounded by strange colored triangular objects. You have to shoot these in color order with the correct beams. The order is: Yellow-Volt Driver; Green-Battlehammer; Orange-Magmaul; Blue-Shock Coil; Purple-Judicator; Red-Imperialist. Once completed successfully, your gunship will chime in and give you a message. Don't worry, it's just a scientific explanation of what's going to happen next. However this alone will not give you the best ending once you do this process. After your ship gives you the message, simply go about your normal methods of beating Gorea. But once you're done it's not over yet. This time when you beat him a different cut scene occurs. after watching this you will be teleported into a new room where Gorea's second stage floats above. However, only the ultimate power can hurt it now and all of your weapons are useless. Fortunetly, it's sitting on the bottom floor. Wait for your gunship to open the shield, and grab the thing to damage Gorea. Just be careful not to hurt yourself in the process of using it. Gorea will teleport all over the arena so you'll need to be climbing up and down constantly. Simply use the jump pads to climb further up and destroy any meteors gorea might shoot at you. Once you've beaten him the ending you've been waiting for commences. Enjoy!

How do you beat Mogenar in Metroid Prime 3 Corruption?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Use your normal beam weapon (charged or not, although not charged is a faster shot) to shoot one of the three red circles. This is easier said than done since that SOB never stops moving. When you get a hit, they turn lighter red and eventually they will be very bright white when you've knocked them out (also, they will lose the damage if they're not knocked out and you haven't hit 'em in a while).

Once it has been disabled, you need to hyper-mode out and blast it until it is burning yellow. It has been destroyed. Hallelujah! Watch out between the time that you knock them white and they're fully kaput because the cheater will regenerate them from the red orbs. This happens A LOT. If possible, try to position yourself where you have a good vantage to both spheres, and destroy them before they reach him (I usually charge one quick shot and then single fire the rest of the way for each, but that's just what works for me). You have little choice but to get pretty adept at this since you'll have to do this...say a million times or so.

Each time you destroy one, he will gain a hard phazon candy coating, and the only way to blast through is to use morph ball bombs around his tootsies. A little secret to this is to ball up before he charges you, and lay three bombs where it looks like he'll end up, and when he stops he'll stand still a few seconds and you can once again do your thing. (this was the one part of the battle I cheated and checked online :) ). Then he'll be back to his normal bothersome self (sans one power station); rinse, lather, and repeat.

Save the one on the back (yes, there's one there too--ugh!) until last, because at the end of the battle when he charges you, it's about the only chance you've got to get behind him.

His attacks:

He'll turn yellow and then do a jump sending out a shock wave that can easily be double-jumped once you get the timing down. Try to aim for a red thingy as you do so; it will open for a second when he lands and you might be able to sneak in a hit.

He'll do some mouth ray thing, and a one foot stomp which are easily jumped or dodged. When he does the mouth ray you can shoot his mouth with the freeze missles which will freeze his face. He will stand around for a few seconds, while trying to dislodge the ice; it's a good time to morph ball and get behind him if you want to try to get the sphere on his back.

When he sends out a green ghost hand, it will home in on you. Shoot it a few times to destroy it (which looks pretty f'ing incredible when you do) for extra health, which you will dearly need from all the hyper-moding.

About halfway through the battle he'll shoot a series of white fireballs at you that you can also try to shoot for health. He also does this deal where he drops a bunch of phazon crystals everywhere, and I think all you can do is hope you don't get hit.

This is what I've come up with anyway, although I haven't beaten him yet. Make sure it's not close to nap time and that you have eaten and used the restroom before you start this marathon. It takes a ridiculously long time, and I haven't even killed him yet.

One more thing--I've been able to periodically shoot him with an ice missile and it will freeze his head and stun him for a few seconds with the redness exposed, though I haven't been able to figure out when exactly to do this.

If you ever get low on health, wait until he reaches for the red balls and shoot those down. Absorb the health by charging your weapon and repeat the process until you feel like you have enough health.

Note: Even with your standard attack charged, the health will not come to you if you are not close enough.

Another piece of advice would be if your on low health, run around him. This will partially help to dodge most of his attacks and it will give you more time to shoot things that will give you help.

What freezes him, is shooting an ice missile when he laughs or roars at you. It pretty much just needs to go into his mouth, but it only lasts about 5 seconds. It's not really worth wasting your missiles. Unless you are really quick, or can destroy the balls without a charged beam.

To add to the attacks mentioned he also armors his feet between the destruction of balls and charges you. The only way to destroy that armor is with morph ball bombs dodge and morph than drop four bombs near each foot the armor breaks just keep in mind when he turns to run the other way he does an extra powerful shockwave jump to turn around or at least it feels extra powerful but dodge and lay the bombs at the right time u won't need to worry bout that just try not to be in ball mode when he jumps to turn around.

How do you get to the power bombs in metroid prime?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

There is a pirate base in phendrana drifts. One of the rooms is called the central dynamo. It's guarded by an invisible drone. once you beat the drone, use the morph ball to go under the generator, navigating the maze of electricity. when you come across a puddle of water, place a bomb on it to short out some of the electricity. You'll eventually get to the power bomb :D

What was the first metroid game?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

probably metroid prime corruption for wii, but mertoid prime and metroid prime 2 on the gamecube are the cheapest and are pretty much the same

Kanden has to say: they ruined metroid orime 1 because they didn't add screw attack.

ALSO they ruined Metroid Prime 2 because of beam ammo limits.

out of the metroid primes i choose............Metroid Prime 3 Corruption as the best of metroid primes.

but if it is an old metroid like Super Nintendo's "glory days" i choose super metroid.

i also love metroid zero-mision and fusion.

How does Metroid Fusion compare to Metroid Zero Mission?

User Avatar

It depends what you like. In Zero Mission, you are more stealthy in some parts and is a remake of the original, and Fusion, it is rather scary, and you have to use your mind a LOT.

But that is really in all Metroid games, but you get what I'm saying.

What does Metroid Other M stand for?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It could be standing for mother brain cause if you put the m in front of other it spells out mother. It could be project m so it could spell out mother and might mean that mother brain could be back. Taken as an acronym, it shortens to MOM, fitting another theme the game establishes (baby's cry, bottle ship, etc)

Is dark samus on ssbb?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

oh boy hope your ready for this

Dark Samus was a metroid that lived on Tallon 4 when the Leviathan struck the planet the metroid was attracted to the Leviathan . When the metroid managed to get in side it became radiated by the mass quantity's of phazon it mutated in to a being that is by far a pure essence of phazon for a few years it consumed the phazon soon enough its appetite grew strong enough to consume the core as well granting this metroid the power to produce phazon at will. After a while the space pirates came to tallon 4 and began mining procedures as they mined they stumbled across metroid prime the captured it and began studies. These studies showed that Metroid Prime was indeed a metroid at one time but the phazon consumption has altered its evolution into metroid prime (dubbed by the space pirates). While in captivity metroid prime sensed a large batch of phazon in the room and broke free to consume it Metroid Prime also managed to integrate the pirates security drones weapon in to its being now fused at a cellular level the weapons are now a part of metroid prime. After a while Metroid Prime gained full control over these weapons and broke free to return to the Leviathan and consume more Phazon. Later Samus Aran made it to the chamber where Metroid Prime was completing its evolution. Sensing her it began to attack. After a furious battle Samus was able to land one shot threw the armor and it its face stumbling across the room in pain it fell into a lower cavern where Samus found its body melting, just as she begins to relax the core of metroid prime comes out for a final attack. Samus utilizes the Phazon beam to overload Metroid Primes unstable chemistry to destroy its body with its body destroyed the core essence of the Metroid is all that's left. With its phazon core over loading the leviathans cavern begins to collapse knowing this Metroid Prime make one desperate attempt at Samus by shooting a tendril at her and try's to pull her in Metroid Prime grabs her phazon suit instead and dissolves into a puddle. As Samus escapes and leaves the planet Metroid primes core cellular structure forms around the suit and emerges as Dark Samus A Human, Chozo, Metroid and Phazon hybrid

Get back to the area your ship landed in, then go through the door that leads to a lake with a crashed pirate vessel beyond it. if you don't have the ice beam yet, make sure to go explore the Chozo Ruins for it.

Where is the ice beam in Metroid prime?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It's in the antechamber. You will have to have some practice with the boost ball to get it. On one side is a save station and the other side is the ice beam. I think that's how it goes. I don't remember how to get there.

How do you hack metroid fusion on your visualboy advance emulator?

User Avatar

Asked by Kanden

here are the steps

1) first download visual boy advance on to your computer.

2)download a ROM

3) download the game "Metroid Fusion" from this site or from any other site, just save it on to a folder where you will keep all your downloaded games.

4) open up the Visual Boy Advance folder (after you downloaded it ) and take out what you see a GBA console icon.

5) open it up and you will see the platform, but there is just a big black box in certain.

6) on the VBA click on FILE and then click OPEN, find the folder you downloaded your game in and double click on it.

7) metroid fusion opened up. HOORRAY!!!! good job on getting this far.

8) click on 'cheats', a new browser should open, then click on gameshark. there should be this box, type the name of the cheat then look on the internet for the code which should be all numbers.

9) i can't give you codes at this moment , but i can tell you that you don't need a MASTER CODE on the GBA. so no worries. oh yea and when you put in the codes they need to be equalled vertacally, so the code can't be going vertacally until you have to hit enter. it just won't work if you do it like that.

10) well im done here, have fun playing the game, but hacking WILL prevent you from boss battles. just saying from experience. ENJOY!

Who is the most powerful game character?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It's hard to say since this is a very general question, but in general, the most famous gaming character that most people would know is probably Mario. This is most likely because of the history to Mario, so all generations from at least the baby boomer generation can relate to him. For example (in the 1980's) , if a Parent's child had a nintendo, the parent would probably have bought him at the very least, Mario. Bros., as it was very popular. In the 1990's, Mario's popularity had increased, with games like Dr. Mario (Gameboy), Mario Kart 64 (Nintendo 64), and Mario Party (Nintendo 64). Today, Mario popularity has skyrocketed, with games like Mario Kart (Nintendo Wii) and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Nintendo Wii). With generations from baby boomer to today, Mario is a character in which those generations can relate to in some way, which is why I would say that Mario is probably the most famous gaming character in general.
