It was originally founded in the United Kingdom in Essex in 1755, the game was brought to America by British Migrents after the war and also was taken back and gratefully received, then the leagues started forming in America. Obviously his wife and kids are important to him, but before he started a family, the most influential person in his life was his father. He really looked up to him. His father was the reason for him leaving the NBA to play major league baseball. Unfortunately that didn't work out for him. He had a good relation with his dad and constantly attempted to make him proud throughout his life.

The United States still used collegiate players in 1988, it wasn't until 1992 that they started using professional basketball players. Michael Jordan played on the 1984 team because he was in college and again in 1992 because of the shift from collegiate to professional athletes.
