What does the song milkshake by kelis mean?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Kelis' milkshake means exactly this: Sir Francis Drake, Vice Admiral (c. 1540 - 27 January 1595), was an English privateer, navigator, slaver, and politician of the Elizabethan era. Queen Elizabeth I awarded Drake a knighthood in 1581. He was second-in-command of the English fleet against the Spanish Armada in 1588, subordinate only to Charles Howard and the Queen herself. He died of dysentery after unsuccessfully attacking San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1595. His exploits were legendary, making him a hero to the English but a simple pirate to the Spaniards. To the Spanish he was known as El Draque, "the Dragon";[citation needed] "Draque" is the Spanish pronunciation of "Drake". His name in Latin was Franciscvs Draco. King Philip II was claimed to have offered a reward of 20,000 ducats (about £4m or $8m by modern standards) for his life. He is famous for (among other things) sailing around the world, returning to England in 1580.

How to make a Milkshake?Do you know how to make a milkshake if not then follow these directions!Well you cut bananas, and then you put it in the blender. Get cubed or crushed ice and put it into the blender. Then get some 1/2 of a cup of Vanilla Ice Cream and put it in the blender. After you are done with that put a cup of whole milk in the blender. If you want put some dry chocolate in the blender. Blend the ingredients together. Once you are done, Put it in a Glass Cup. Then, Cut a strawberry in half Cut the half strawberry on the tip put on your cup. On the side most likely. Then put whip cream on top then you have your banana Milkshake. Now you know how to make a milkshake! My suggestion is to put one or two spotty bananas in the blender add a little vanilla, a half cup of heavy cream then fill the ramainder with milk. Whipped cream on top is NOT traditional and only represents the piggyness of modern society. The spotty bananas are sweeter and blend better.

What is the additives with milkshake for racing horses?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Milkshaking is the term used when a solution of bicarbonate, water and vitamins are given to a horse prior to a race. The theory is that the bicarbonate will neutralize the lactic acid produced during the race, and result in the horse getting less tired, especially towards the end of the race. A stomach tube is place into the horse's nose (not mouth), down the esophagus and into the stomach. Tests have not shown any conclusive advantage doing this procedure, but it is still illegal. A milkshake will rarely kill a horse unless something inappropriate is added to the mixture, or the tube is accidentally placed into the lungs instead of the stomach.
