Yes you can in survival mode, First just destroy the leaf blocks on the trees. destroy all leaf blocks on the tree until you see something falling from the leaf block. It looks like a small tree ,take it. Then you find the small tree on your inventory. Then you plant the tree on the ground (only ground terrain). Just wait it grows. Usually it takes 2-5 nights. PS: The wood type of the tree depends on where you destroy the leaf blocks. Ex :If you found it after destroying tthe leaf blocks on the tree with the black and white pattern it will grow the same. Sorry for my bad english. Im indonesian :)

I'm not sure how to get steel in Minecraft PE but to get flint, you need to use a shovel on gravel. Please note that it won't work every single time you use it on gravel.

If you just want sky blocks you can't just get it with a seed you need to download it by a map.

Minecraft is a sandbox game that many people got attracted to during 2011-2012. Pocket Edition of Minecraft has its own advantages and disadvantages, like EVERY game in the world. Pocket Edition allows you take pictures and vanilla Minecraft doesn't have a camera at all. Pocket Edition, however, only allows you to carry 5 items on hand and vanilla Minecraft allows up to 9-10 items (I don't remember the EXACT number). It is up to you now to buy it or not.
