There are different types of tools that you can use to mine redstone. The diamond or iron pick axe is a good tool that you can use to mine redstone since it is mostly in dust form.

Unless there is an adventure map that has been made especially for minecraft 360 edition then no. what you are referring to is what I believe to be called a mod or modification which changes up your game in magnificent ways however these have yet to be implemented into 360 version of the game.

Connect your xbox to the internet, sign in to your xbox live account. Launch the game and if your using an old version the game will automatically update. You will be prompted to confirm the update.

I'd say work for it and raise the $26.95 yourself. Or set a goal for something you want to do. and then your parents could agree to buy it for you if you reach the goal

If you already have 1.6.1 you just click yes to the new update and it will download the update.

If you don't have it already just go to the Minecraft website and down load the launcher and it will update that way.

well there is a mod for that or you can download too many items and there is a botton on the left where you can save your inventory so if you die you will have your stuff by clicking that button
