they find another team to go to. But, it depends on why you got cut if its because youre not very good for that position then just try harder for draft next year. And, dont care what team you get put on just be happy you are on one.

The answer depends a lot on how the player is cut or released. WIth players trying to make a team they can drop down to the practice squad or try to make a different team. With players that are more established they often get released do to salary cap issues in which case they would become an unrestricted free agent and could sign with any team that was willing to pay them the money they feel they deserve. If a player is released who is under contract they will receive their salary for the year as well as the signing bonus they were given when they initially signed the contract. The player is then a free agent and can sign with any team that is willing to pay him.
