it depends how high were your hcg levels, i was about 5 weeks when i miscarried nd my hcg were at 880 now after 1 week my hcg gone down to 100 so it all depends..to get a positive your hcg levels should be higher then 4

Hi.sorry for your lost..but I misscarried in dec and just got a period march 13th 2011. And I been bleeding for 8 days on and off so I think it can be I'm hopeing it just stops cause I'm usually 3/4 day..

If you are pregnant, which I'm guessing you are since this topic is about miscarriages, you should not bleed vaginally at all since a period happens when an egg is unfertilized and the thickened lining of your uterus, ready to support a growing baby, flushes out since it is not needed. So I say that you are fine....unless you have been bleeding, then something is wrong with the baby and you need to see your doctor immediately.

However, if you are not pregnant, missing a period could be a sign of being pregnant or other factors like stress, gaining (or losing) a lot of weight, and many other things that disturb your natural. First, ask yourself if it's your period does not come every month, then this should be normal unless you bleed heavily when your period does come. Yes, you can pass tissue from a miscarriage while peeing. I know this from personal experience.

Just tell her the truth. Having a miscarriage is hard, and you need someone to support you thru it. But keeping it a secret will only make the situation worse, and sooner or later the truth is going to come out .
