As a Netballer myself... while being known for my intercepts when it is the oppositions throw in. What i do is watch there hand movement. As well as their eyes because just before they throw the ball they tend to look at the person they are about to throw the ball to, and they often push the wrists back just before they throw the ball which lets me know the exact time they will pass.

the goal shooter in netball is only allowed to stay in the end they're team is shooting and is not allowed to come in the middle third! the shooter can shoot in the goal and can defend the ball when they miss their goal.! they also have a defender which is called a GK and the GK is usually instructed to follow every move the GS makes!! so you have to try and trick them!

In most games you can only shoot from inside the shooting circle,however some people play that you can shoot from outside the shooting circle and if you do you get 2 points. In the netball world cup 2011 the played this rule.

The role of a captain is to make sure that everyone is fit and healthy for the game and is all prepared.

The captain is to do the toss with the opposition captain, report the result back to the umpires, go to umpires with querys regarding calls etc.
