Nickelodeon was originally launched in December 1977 as the Pinwheel Channel. In April 1979, the channel re-launched itself declaring its name "Nickelodeon" and declaring its 1979 year as its official launch year. It has aired popular kids and teen shows such as "You Can't Do That On Television," "All That" and "The Secret World of Alex Mack." It also airs its annual Awards show which is now called the "Kids' Choice Awards." Nickelodeon has launched various cable and digital cable/satellite channels over the years such as TeenNick, Nicktoons, TV Land, Nickelodeon GAS and Nick Jr.

If you want to have a live show use ustream.com they allow you to have a live web show.
Or go to weebly.com and sign up and then just design the website! It's easy and free but they will ask if you want to buy it so just say no.
For a web show you will probably need a studio. If you don't want a studio though then just make videos or sketches like The Amanda Show. Check on You Tube for examples of good videos. I personally think sketches are better than web shows because a lot of famous people on You Tube do videos or video blogging like Kev Jumba, Happy Slip, Nigahiga, etc. Like iCarly, you could have a free website on webs.com and post videos on it. Good examples are zbobrules.webs.com, imaddieandicourt.webs.com, and sillynoodle.webs.com.

You have to have an agent, as Nickelodeon usually doesn't have open casting calls. They usually won't even consider someone who doesn't have an agent, except in special cases. There are certain special events, such as Actorfest, where you can go to audition for Nickelodeon and many other networks without an agent, experience, or anything.
What are some new scary TV shows for all ages?
Well, scary and all-ages don't really go together, but I've found a great show on Cartoon Network called Tower Prep. It's not animated, and is good for all ages. I personally know 8-year-olds who like it and 40-year-olds who like it. It is one of those rare shows that makes you think, but it's also just fun to watch. It's comedy, mystery, and drama all rolled into one. I think you'll like it!
