The Snooki Poof works best if you don't have a full fringe or "bangs" (your hair should all be one length) and if your hair isn't thin.
First, brush all of your hair back so that you can see your whole forehead in the mirror.
Rake your fingers through the thick section of hair that's now lying over the top of your head, like your hand is a comb.
Pinch this section of hair at the very end (so your poof won't be small) between your finger and thumb, and use both hands to tightly twist the end of this section of hair. The twisted bit should be quite short and it should look kind of like a rope when you're finished twisting. Pinch the twist with your finger and thumb, or it will unravel!
With your other hand (the hand that isn't pinching the twist), make a fist at the end of the twist. Now hold the end of the twist tightly between two of your stumped fingers (they're stumped because your hand is in a fist). Stop pinching the twist with your other hand because you're now holding the twist with the stumped fingers.
Have a bobby pin/kerby grip/clip at the ready in your free hand. Still holding the twist between your stumped fingers, gently move your fist forwards (very far forwards if you want it to be big) so that the thick section of hair rises into a quiff/quaff/poof.
Fasten the bobby pin/kerby grip/clip over the twist. Then fasten about three more over the twist so that it can't unravel. There shouldn't be any hair touching your forehead.
