Yes, you can. Just insert the Gamecube disc into the Wii as you would a Wii game, and on the game channel, the Gamecube logo will show up. Click on the game channel and click "Start" to begin the game.

You will need Gamecube controllers to play Gamecube games, however. Plug the controller into the top of the Wii to be able to use the Gamecube controller.

The game was clearly designed to work best with the Classic Pro controller (which has 2 more buttons than the GCN controller), but it adapts pretty well. Here's the default layout (named Greene):

L analog stick: move

R analog stick: look

L: Aim

R: Shoot

D-pad Left and Right: Cycle weapons

D-pad Up: Change firing mode

D-pad Down: Smartphone

A: Sprint/Use

B: Reload

X: Crouch

Y: Grenade

(Z is used to access alternate commands and doesn't do anything by itself)

Z + A: Scoreboard/Nightvision

Z + B: Melee

Z + Y: Cycle Grenades

It works great in multiplayer, but I do have to say that it would have been nice to have a dedicated melee button while playing the campaign.

Keep this in mind that I am doing the default settings. Control Stick/D-pad=Move. A=Shoot, check things, combine items, open doors, climb up things like ladders, jump over stuff, kick (if you shoot the ganado in the head) or back kick (if you shoot the ganado in the knee), etc... B=Hold Control Stick/D-pad to run. Press on the Control Stick/D-pad down and B to do a 180 degree turn a.k.a. turn around. Z=Map. Y=Attache case inventory. X=Not used. L=Knife. R= Ready's weapon. Hold R and press A to shoot. C stick=Moves the camera around. Start=Skip cutscenes as well as go to your options screen.

The only game that comes with a memory card is Animal Crossing, meaning if you want to save your games you have to buy memory cards, but the person writing this thinks the Gamecube comes with at least one memory card.

well theres a few things that it could be.

1. you disk has something on it

you should wipe it o ff with a damp cloth- remember NOT SOAKING WET! that will mess up your disc even more.

2. your disk is scratched alot

you could take it somewhere like a game store that has the special machines to fix up the scratches. or if you feel like risking it, 've tried a little bit of tooth paste on the disk and then using the damp cloth, it helped a bit.

3. your gamecube disk sanner is either messed up or broken.

after you've tried the first two solutions, and it stil isn't working, you might want to see if the problem is your game cube disk scanner. i think that game stores might be able to help, im not sure if they will though.

Well all I'm saying is that how much info or data it can support on the home console. If you want unlimeted objects on a lot get the PC version. You can put alot of things on a single lot!

Okay I recenetly sold my 'cube to the GS and I wasn't really expecting much. I initially bought my GamEcuBe for $120 as well as Luigi's Mansion for an additional $30. However upon returning to Gamestop I actually got more than I had paid! They bought my gamecoube for $150!!! All you need to do is return with the power cables/AV cables as well as one controller and the gamecube and you're set. Trust me, anything less is a complete ripoff, some people only wanna pay you like $100 but its worth much more.

I Have To Say No Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 Are For The Wii ONLY Luckily If You Only Have A Gamecube Controller But You Also Have a Wii And No Wii Remote You Might Still Be Able To Play It Cause Gamecube Controllers & Wiis Have Some Kind Of Connection (I Think)
