you might just fin it however I have never found it due to how rare it is. Sometimes you may come over a hidden present which isn't marked on the map. Those are usually rare items however if you don't feed your dog and it is Hungary it may be scraps which make your dog slow and the music will change but if your dog is in top condition and venture round a bit you may come across it. if you want to get rid of one you go to the dog hotel and choose the one to get rid of it. if you want to start a whole new game then after you turn it on go into nintendogs and hold down the 2 side buttons, the cross control button, and all 4 buttons on the right. then hold them down until it comes up and asks you if you want to get rid of the data. say yes to both questions it asks you, because there are 2. then it will start the game over like its a new game.

How do you find the jack Russel book on nintendogs?
On the action replay, there is already a modifier code. There is a Jack Russell and Dalmatian thing, you select the Save for Jack Russell and the dog in the bottom right corner on the home screen of the nintendogs game will be turned into a jack Russell, but when you are saving the game hold L+R. For, me, it crashed my game a couple of times, but finally it turned my Golden retriever into a Jack Russell.

Sadly there is no way of knowing what things you will find on walks. But you can find presents by Letting your dog go into the grass patches on the mountain (yes you can find presents there) Swerving aroung the traffic cones following the secret path wich apears randomly

Nintendogs have their own language. Your dog may be frowning and barking for alot of reasons. Have you taken away a toy it was playing with? Have you feed it? Have you bathed it? - Feed the dog the light bulb that appears over your dogs head, it will make it learn the trick quicker. If you feed a bone to dog it gives trainer points!
- Throw a toy. No matter if the dog catches it or not rub him/her on the head. Any time you pet your dog and sparkles appear you get trainer points. Do the same when the dog does a trick correctly.
- Whistle and call its name, instead of pressing the round button to call your dog.
- walks give you 100 trainer pts. On the end of your walk go to a park. Put on new collar. It will save any items found. You can go on a walk again!
- Go to contests and place in the top 3.
- Visit friends in bark mode
- Let it play with other dogs you own
- Give it a bath then brush it
- Play it music it likes
- Before you go into a contest save. Then if you do poorly in a contest you can shut it off BEFORE the contest is over and you can restart it.
- Buy treats from the discount store and give them to the dog when it's good, does a trick, does good in a contest, finds good presents for you, and when it doesn't get into fights with other dogs.

Hint: Basic Tricks
Sneeze: While sitting tap your dogs nose. it should sneeze. This can be taught as a trick.
Backflip: Tell your dog to sit. Then, tell your dog to jump. it should do a backflip. This can be taught.
Speak: buy a keyboard (at 5000 trainer points) tap the little trumpet symbol. Now tap the camera symbol until it reaches the right dog. hold the lowest note (the left side) your dog should bark (keep holding) then the lightbulb will appear. let go of the note and teach the trick.
Wave: Tell your dog to sit. now grab his ear and move it around the dog should bring it's paw up then tap the lightbulb and teach it the trick. Stand: tell your dog to beg. now take his chest and slide up. he should stand up. tap the bulb and teach the trick.

Before making the last stop in the park, change your dog's collar to auto-save your game. Turn off the DS and cold boot the game. This will enable you to save any items you found during the walk and restarts your walk at the same time, allowing you to farm the park for items.

To find out if garbage or a present is approaching during one of your walks, look at the top screen. There should be the little dog symbol on the path that you drew. If that dog symbol stops and your dog is still walking, this indicates that either garbage or a present is coming up on the floor. If it is a present, tug your dog to a stop and your dog will notice it. It will pick it up and bring it over to you. It is easier to do this when your dog is running.

While you can purchase new toys for your pup to play with, you can actually get some goodies for free if you know where to look. When you take your Nintendog on a walk, outline a path that goes by the blue "?" boxes marked on the map. Your puppy is likely to run off screen at those points and come back with a present for you!
Your puppy will also randomly run to get presents for you if you leave the game on the "Home" screen for long. If left unattended, your Nintendog will leave the apartment and stay off screen. Simply tap on the center button (the circular one) to whistle and call back your pup who should be carrying a new present.
