Can you get sick from rotten peanuts?
I heard that you sick of you eat it anyway and you die and go the wrong way.
Where does the apricorn tree grow?
This is a rather controversial question; most believe a 'true' apricorn tree grows in North America, however if the several species of lesser apricorn trees count, then a large proportion can be found in Eastern Asia.
What is a 25 automatic raven Crome Handgun with a walnut handle worth?
Raven pistols aren't worth very much. Less than $100 most likely.
What do macadamia nuts taste like?
The best anyone can say is, taste a macadamia nut and describe its flavor.
Then ask someone else to describe its flavor, and then ask someone else. Keep doing this until you have a large database of opinion. Then work out an average opinion on the flavor of macadamia nuts. You still won't know what a macadamia nut tastes like, but you'll have a rough idea what it tastes like to a lot of people and you'll be able to calculate what the nut tastes like to the majority of your control group.
Food textures are not too difficult to describe, because humans all have very similar perceptions of how something we eat actually feels.
Flavor is nearly impossible to describe. The flavor of food is so completely personal that nobody can say to another person, 'this tastes like this, or that, or this plus that.' and come anywhere close to how it will really taste to that other person.
It isn't difficult to suggest to people how they will perceive the texture, taste, or appearance of something, and many will use suggestions from others to form their own opinions, whether or not they do so consciously.
But no matter how eloquently we phrase our description of any particular taste, others - though influenced by our opionions - will inevitably make up their own minds when deciding to like, love, dislike, detest, crave for more or prefer to eat anything at all rather than any more of that particular food. Or they might simply find the flavor so boring as to be neutral; something they might eat but not really notice.
All you can do is discover what a macadamia nut tastes like to you.
And even then, you need to try the nut straight from its shell, as well as straight from a packet. You need to try salted, unsalted, roasted, fried, boiled, raw, imported, locally-grown, and so on.
Personally, I say nothing compares with the flavor and texture of the nut straight from the shell, straight from the tree.
But that's only my opinion; practically everyone else in the world doesn't have Queensland nut trees (macadamias) growing in their gardens.
Which nuts are best for you to eat?
"Best" is very subjective.
Ranked by nutritional density:
• Almonds
• Hazelnuts (filberts)
• Chestnuts
but in a pie, you can't beat pecans (Mmmm....).
How do you make double delight with cashew nuts?
Beat six eggs till they are light and frothy, add 100 gms butter, pinch of cardamom and cocoa. Add cashews bake it.
If the ratio of cashews to total nuts is 16 to 50, and there are only cashews and peanuts in the bag, then the ratio of peanuts to total nuts is the number of total nuts minus the number of cashew nuts, or
50 - 16 = 34 to 50
To find the percentage of peanuts, divide the number of peanuts by the total number of nuts and multiply that number by 100 to obtain
(34/50) x 100% = 68%
Note: Depending upon how sly your teacher is, this is a "trick question" because neither cashews nor peanuts are actually "nuts". Peanuts are legumes and cashews are seeds. Therefore, the answer might be: "None of the nuts are peanuts, because peanuts are legumes, like peas or beans, not nuts."
Can styrofoam peanuts be eaten?
Surprisingly, yes - certain types of packing peanuts can be eaten, because they're made from a type of corn by-product. Ingesters report they taste similar to rice cakes.
WARNING: Don't try to eat a packing peanut. Please. The styrofoam ones are pretty bad for you, and they're almost identical to the corn ones.
Can you substitute solo almond paste for solo almond filling?
No. Almond Paste is a very thick paste made of almonds, sugar and some almond extract. Almond Filling is looser, more like cake frosting/filling. If you substitute, you'll not get the same results. There is more sugar in Filling, too, about 25% more and it will over-sweeten your recipes. Spend the extra money on something you'll probably only make once a year, like Christmas cookies. Recipes are pretty exacting, and replacing paste with filling will lead to a baking disaster.
