Well, as far as I know one of the Korean coaches at the 1964 Games was Yang Bong Soo who came to the USA and opened a Judo School on Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago. For years he was the highest ranked Judoka in the US. He was 9th degree black belt. Later the school was moved to Des Plaines, Il. The School was named Chicago Mudo Center. After his death from cancer his younger borhter Yang Hong Tae continue to teach until last year when he retired at age 71 years old.
