After the Olympics Jenner was the most popular athlete in the United States. Capitalizing on his fame, as well as his good looks, he made more money from winning a single event than any other athlete had before him, as he was widely sought after for commercials, promotions, and public appearances. He made a spectacular living simply being Bruce Jenner. Jenner appeared in movies, on television, was a sportscaster with ABC-TV, and co-authored two books, Decathlon Challenge: Bruce Jenner's Story (1977) and Bruce Jenner's Guide to Family Fitness(1978). Jenner met Kris Kardashian in 1990, and five months later they were husband and wife. What 10 sports are not in the Olympics?
There are dozens of sports not in the Olympics, but the question is worth an answer because in some cases it raises the corollary - "Why not?"
1) Some competitive activities are not really sports at all. Chess, other board games and card games, for example, wouldn't qualify because their mental aspect so far outweighs their physical side. Darts, Snooker and even Golf hover on the borderlines of this.
2) Some sports are not enjoyed in sufficient numbers by enough countries, such as cricket, jai alai, and shinty. Polo, baseball and its women's equivalent softball have been included in the past but are currently excluded.
3) Motorsports have been barred by the Olympic Committee for many years, so anything involving cars, motorbikes, motorboats (including water-skiing) or aeroplanes (including parachuting) are out. Ballooning is a fringe here, although the burner constitutes a non-animal powered propulsion mechanism - a motor of sorts.
4) Some widely practised sports have been more or less relegated to children, and have no (or very little) adult involvement, such as sack-racing (which used to be an adult sport), three-legged racing, wheelbarrow racing and egg-and-spoon racing.
5) Finally, some sports are hovering on the edge of acceptance. Rugby sevens and golf will be included in 2016, and there is some enthusiasm for squash. The IOC is conscious however that regardless of popularity, too many sports would overload the organisation of the games and make them too unwieldy to organise at all, so new ideas will be increasingly difficult to get in.
Where were the first original olympic games held in ancient times?

Yes , ski jumping is in Olympics, but not for women. It is the only event in the Olympics--summer or winter--that does not allow women. (The last event in the Olympic Summer Games to include women is boxing, which will be included in London 2012.) By 2014, the women will have had two World Championships and will have World Cup status. The hope is that the IOC will vote to allow the women into Sochi 2014 sometime in late 2010, which will finally make the Olympics gender equal, although men still have many more events than women in many sports. For example, in ski jumping, the men have three events--the K90, K120, and team event. If the women are voted in to Sochi 2014, they will only be approved for the K90.

How hot does a blow torch get?
lol actually me and my friend had a good time with this one
we took my thermamoter and light the Bic lighter and the thermo stat went around twice to a grand total of 300 degrees F
it around 850 degrees F the only reason that the person above got 300 is because thermo stats have a spring inside that keeps it from going around several times. you would have to use one that goes to at least 1000 degrees F to get a accurate reading
Olympic events that need a judge?
Well, all of the events need judges to ensure all competitors are obeying the rules. Even though events in athletics (track and field) are won by the fastest runner or the longest/highest jumper, judges must be there to ensure there are no false starts, runners running out of their lanes, long jumpers that take off with their foot over the end of the board, etc. Judges (referees) are needed in tennis and football and hockey and water polo.
Some of the events where winners are decided solely by judges are diving, synchronized swimming, gymnastics, figure skating, freestyle skiing, and snowboarding.
