One Piece

It's a story about 17 year old Monkey D. Luffy's adventure to become the Pirate King, the pirate who rules over everything and owns everything. On his way are many hardships such as other people who want to be the Pirate King and marines as well as trustworthy, loyal and powerful friends.

There is no real storyline set to all the different islands they visit and explore on the Grand Line though, it seems that Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, likes to throw in the wackiest place he can think of! This makes it very fun to watch.

From what I understand funimation is playing catch up with their DVD releases and won't release anymore dubbed episodes until that catches up. According to Wikipedia, funimation plans on releasing episode 183-195 in dub on DVD on dec 21, 2010. So based on that I'm guessing that episode 196 dubbed will be released some time after that.

Episode 165 is about going to the Sky Island, Skypiea.

My speculations are that they are grown on a mystical tree on raftel (the final island in the grand line)then when theyre ripe they fall into the ocean and are taken by the waves.

Although it doesn't explain the origin of the fruits, we know that when a fruit user dies, the devil fruit will be reborn from a normal fruit.

Episode 174 is part of the Skypeia Arc, and does not skip to a different season from the eps before or after it.

Luffy and the rest of the crew arrive at Cocoyashi village around episode 31-32. But the famous march to aronlg park, which is what i think your looking for, takes place around episode 37.

The first important person that ever died in the story of one piece is Gol D Roger. He is the king of the pirates who left his treasure in the sea and encouraged the pirates to go out and look for it. It was then the start of the age they called the golden age of piracy.

Recently, the other important person who died is Portgas D Ace, the brother of Luffy (very complicated story but he was truly the son of Gol D Roger). He was captured by Blackbeard, a former crewmate of Ace and became a member of the Royal Shichibukai due to capturing Ace, and Ace was imprisoned by the marines. He was scheduled to be executed but a war broke between the marines and the Whitebeard Pirates. During the war, Ace was killed by one of the Admirals, Admiral Akainu right in front of Luffy. Luffy already knew that his big brother known as Fire Fist Ace was the son of Gol D. Roger. Luffy wasn't really his brother because he and Ace were different families but Luffy's Grandpa was like a grandfather to Ace. Their grandpa always wanted them to be great marine leaders or something extraordinary part of the marines. But his grandsons rebelled, they wanted to be King of the Pirates just like Ace's father Gol D. Roger.

After ace dies, it starts at episode 393

Spandam, the leader. Easily recognised by a mask covering his damaged face, Spandam has no special powers of his own (he is weaker than a regular marine) However he uses a sword which has been merged with an elephant devil fruit, to create a sword-elephant hybrid. It is named Funkfreed.

Rob Lucci, a tall man wearing a top hat. He uses the zoan devil fruit, Neko Neko no Mi: Model Leopard. He has a pet pigeon called Hattori.

Jabra, a man with a scar over one eyebrow, braided hair and wears a martial art-style costume. He uses the zoan devil fruit, Inu Inu no Mi: Model Wolf. He has a pet rooster, unnamed.

Fukuro, a man with a spherical body, and a zipper over his mouth. He has no devil fruit abilities but has the power to determine an individual's power level.

Kaku, who has a long square-ended nose. He uses the zoan devil fruit, Ushi Ushi no Mi: Model Giraffe, along with his skill with swords.

Blueno, a dour-faced man with broad shoulders and whose hair seems to be shaped into cow horns. He ate the paramecia devil fruit, Doa Doa no Mi, making him a Door-man. He can create doors in other objects, including living beings and thin air.

Kumadori, wearing a kabuki costume, and with long pink hair. He has no devil fruit powers, but has learned the ultimate form of body control, life release. This lets him (amongst other things) increase and decrease his body weight, and manipulate his hair to use it as a weapon.

Kalifa, the only female agent. Kalifa ate the Awa Awa no Mi, a paramecia-type devil fruit, making her a Soap-woman.

Nero, who wears a wide-brimmed hat and has buck teeth. He lost against Franky and was attacked by Rob Lucci, his current status is unknown.

Laskey, who has grey hair and thin glasses. He is a former CP9 agent, and Kalifa's father.
