yes it shows up the same.. the test is only going to show u have oxy in ur system not what mg... if they could do that alot of people would be hit!!

Do these two medicines interact? CAn you take both of them at the same time?

Its pointless to take percocet while taking suboxone because suboxone blocks all of your reseptors in your body so the narcodic from the percocet cant get in your reseptors, its a waste of percocets

That depends on how your taking it and how much your taking. Generally last two to six hours. Do not do Oxycontin, believe me, after four years of use and tens of thousands of dollars spent for the high, you are going either go broke or lose your job chasing the high.

The best thing to do is go to a health food store immediately and buy a detoxification system (make sure it says it will detoxify your liver on package) they usually keep the drug detoxification kits behind the counter for stuff like this so you will have to ask, drink more water than you have ever drank in your life, drink coffee to highten your metabolism and do a lot of exercise, increasing your metabolism as well, this will increase the drugs ability to flush from your system quicker. Oh and try not to do drugs before the test.

percocet is a little bit stronger than vicodin in terms of its sedating and painkilling effects. i had my wisdom teeth out a month ago and after a few days the vicodin the doctor prescribed me for pain gradually lost its effect. he then prescribed me percocet which felt stronger to me but like the vicodin it gradually lost its effect. your body tends to build high tolerances to these drugs if used consistently.

If you snort a percocet it will have the same effect as if you had taken them orally. they'll just hit you a little faster because the blood vessels in your nose will absorb them faster. If you're trying to get high I suggest doing this rather than eating them because you will feel them faster.....

my psychiatrist gave me Suboxone 8mg/2mg , I also take Vicodin 5/500mgs for breakthru pain, is this safe?? and how long do I have to wait to take a vicodin, well, actually it would be hydrocodone the generic for the vicodin, to work on my pain??

I don't know the details, but oxycodone is synthesized from thebaine, one of the alkaloids found in opium. The other major alkaloids of opium are morphine and codeine. Buprenorphine is also derived from thebaine. Hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxymorphone, and dihydrocodeinone are all derived from morphine. Codeine is metabolized into morphine in our livers. BULL SH!T. oxymorphone is made from thebain. all the good opiates and the strongest are made from thebain.

I have a routine blood test to make sure I am taking my correct dose of Oxycontin's that I am prescribed, does it show the correct dosage because i am prescribed 3 a day and sometimes I have only taken 2 a day, because I had missed and I was told not to double take them? Also I had a urine test and I have to take another because the results came up inconclusive and I had my period at the time does that affect the test?

It completely depends on your tolerance. I have mixed Morphine and Oxycontin together, and they seem to harmonize quite nicely in my opinion. In fact, I have done just that about an hour ago... **BUT** I also have a high tolerance to narcotics. I had been taking Vicodin and Percocet on and off as a teenager, and then one day I was introduced to Oxycontin. Because I have a highly addictive personality (it runs in the family), it was bound to happen. I became hooked on Oxycontin and began on a regular basis for three years. I need about 80-100mg of Oxycontin to even begin to feel the way I need to feel in order to get things accomplished and be a more sociable, successful human being. These days, Vicodin and Percocets are nothing more than to help me fuction without being thrown into fullblown, crippling withdrawal. Narcotics, in my opinion should be prescribed for depression as well. So yes, to make a long story short, mixing Morphine with Oxycontin wont kill you, but if you're opiate intolerant, take the lowest dosage possible. Actually, if you are opiate intolerant, I would suggest not even trying them at all. Withdrawal and addiction is very real and one of the hardest things to overcome. Take in moderation and be safe.

I also believe that pain killers should be perscribed for depression. Alot of people are doing that same thing self medicating

When "hydrocodone" is in a medication, it is most often in the form of hydrocodone bitartrate-- it is just usually referred to as simply "hydrocodone", so they are the same thing.

Much like morphine sulfate is generally just referred to as "morphine" and codeine phosphate as "codeine"... they are the most common forms (salts) of each narcotic painkiller.

Sorry but there is a generic it is called Oxycodone 10/325 made by Watson, once you get higher then the 10 mg percocet then it is just called oxycodone 15 mg for example and it does not have any tylenol added therefore there is no /?. Percocet 10/325 has 10mg of oxycocone and 325mg of tynelol.

methadone is a very strong version of Oxycontin. it's used to help people having withrdrawals from Oxycontin and heroin so it's an extremely strong version of it. i don't recommend mixing the two because methadone is basically the equivalent of 160 mgs of Oxycontin.

codeine is a derivative of opiates. rather ur being tested specifically for codeine or opiates (most likely both??). as far as i know they just check for opiates, not specifically codeine. however within 3 days of being clean u should be fine

sure you can break them. It is highly recommended that you don't. Take them as they are. Don't break them, suck the coating off, or crush them. You would only want to do this if you were snorting it or "banging" it.

If you were prescribed codeine by two different doctors, then you should ask a pharmacist or one of the doctors first before taking both of them. If the second doctor that prescribed the codeine to you doesn't know you're already taking it, then him prescribing it to you was an error. Taking two types of codeine together is effectively taking a larger dose. Taking too large of a dose of powerful drugs like codeine is dangerous.

On the other hand, if a single doctor prescribed both to you, and told you to take both of them, then you probably should.
