Can you come down off cocaine with Percocet?
Its never safe to mix anythig, but ive tried coming down with Vicodine the blow and worked perfectily, im not sure about Percocet, but if they are simiailar at all I would say try it. But SMALL doses!!
It all depends on your system. My first response would be, do not mix drugs and if you can, do not do it. Someone as I did in the 70s, when Cocaine was cocaine and not the crap today, we had a Drug (downer) Qualude. It was later banned in the USA, not sure, but do not think it is even made. I could not afford coke much, but I was never one to like a speed feeling, so Cocaine was much less that feeling than say Amphetimine. I could never get it up on just Cocaine, but to take the edge off and get the ole private to work, you could get to a point when right, of just the right mix it was Euphoric. I was an athlete most of my life until 20 and I was LUCKY to not have Od, had a heart attack or died. I saw too many die in Florida. Oxycontin is much stonger, if you have to do this, cut everything in half, especially the downer. If you do Oxy, Percocets of even one level down Vycodin, cut them by 2/3rds of what you would do by themselves and continue to monitor how you feel every 30 minutes when your coke wears off.
As an old man, I just smoke pot and am so happy I made it through life, please be careful, one person takes a hit of crack and dies, another can be an addict for years. Everyone's system is different, fatigue, dehydrated, so many things can change what you can do today over tomorrow. Be careful

Snorting pills is dangerous. The pill dust/peices can be lodged in the lungs and provide a fertile breeding ground for bacteria. It can be fatal. If you have been snorting pills and you are having lung pain, go to your doctor or an ER and get a chest X-Ray done!!!! It's DEADLY serious. You can crash quickly!
How do you reduce the with-drawls from Oxycontin?
Reducing pain medication should preferably be done with the help of a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, psychiatrists/psychologists and other healthcare providers who specializes in pain (if you suffer from pain) and dependence. If you are a pain sufferer, before withdrawing from pain medication, you should be assessed by a pain clinic and advised. Its useless to try and stop if the pain will come back and drive you back to the meds, although sometimes a break is required to make the medications more effective.
Although withdrawal can be done alone, it is much harder. In essence the idea is to reduce the meds slowly, so the body does not recognize the lowered dose. For opioid addiction, some clinics offer methadone withdrawal treatment, which basically replaces the narcotics and then is reduced slowly. Because it lasts a long time in the blood, it helps prevent withdrawal. There will be times during the process where you will not be able to continue going down, without first staying on that dose, or even upping the dose a little for a short period. The body needs to stabilize on that dose before going down further. Other drugs are often used to help someone with drawing from pain medication, such as benzodiazepines, clonodine, sleeping tablets, anti-inflamatory drugs etc. but they must be used with caution as some are addictive or have other side effects.
If you are a legitimate pain sufferer, you will most likely need to check into a hospital or drug treatment program - preferable not one that deals only with street drug users (heroin etc.) - so that the pain can be treated when it returns without addictive medication. Addiction programs often have little understanding or sympathy for the needs of pain patients, which can cause distress and unnecessary pain.
Beware! A note of EXTREME caution - people withdrawing from narcotics are more likely to overdose at this time - this is because they are feeling lousy and they take the same dose as before they started lowering the dose, and this can be fatal. The body adjusts to the lower dose and taking additional narcotics, even the same dose more often, can leave the body more susceptible to overdose. It's best done under medical supervision.
Some highly recommend suboxone (Buprenorphine) but you would have to come down
to a lower dose first (to the opioid equivalent of 30mg Methadone per day). There are other protocols, including withdrawal under anesthetic, but it's essential to find out if it's appropriate for you.
Good luck!
Is Oxycontin more addictive than heroin?
No. Oxycontin contains oxycodone where as heroin is diacetylmorphine. Both are opiates.
Why is an immediate release medication preferable to an extended release?
Immediate release is for break away pain. For the now effects to where extended is for a longer period. For example you take a extended release, And your next 1 is in 6 hours but you are feeling pain again in 3-4 hours, you could take the immediate release.

Oxycontin is the slow release of Endone. Oxycontin is usually given for its slow release capabilities meaning that over a 12 hour period. No matter what size dosage. But check with you G.P as they will tell you the exact dosage that they would like you to be taking as it is so addictive.
Can Diazepam Oxycontin be taken at the same time?
You can but it is not recommended. If taken in large doses or if someone has no tolerance to either the opiate (Oxycontin) or the benzodiazepine (diazepam), the person may experience slowed breathing and a slowed heart beat. Either one can be so severe to the point of death. But if taken cautiously and responsibly, it is possible to survive a dosing of Oxycontin and diazepam and have a fun time while doing it. Just don't drink any alcohol, none! It will raise your chance of dying from both those drugs by like 600%
some of those drugs are used to make meth and when theyre combined they show up at meth

Can a person snort Oxycontin once and not have a habit?
YES! Contrary to what the mainstream would have you believe you can try a lot of drugs once and not be addicted. It takes a daily habit and a certain kind of person to become an addict of any drug. Some people use Oxycontin relationally every other weekend and will never become an addict. I personally believe that any drug used in moderation can be enjoyed by anyone. People just don't know how to ration themselves!
It is possible....any body altering substance can cause cell mutation and damage leading to cancer.
If I exercise five days a week will oxycodone be out of my system in four days?
Depending on your definition of "out of your system", yes and no.
Oxycodone has a half life of 3 - 4.5 hours. The math is easier with 4 hours. With a 4 hour half-life, after 24 hours, you would have 1.5% of the drug left in your system. After 2 days, 0.02% will be left in your system. By the 4th day it's down to about a millionth of a percent. So, in other words, after 2 days, it's effectively gone.
Now, if you're asking with regards to drug testing, that's different (and I don't mean to imply that it is, but drug testing is a common subject here), the tests usually don't test for the presence of the drug itself, but for metabolites of the drug. That is, most drugs enter your system as one chemical and exit it as different chemicals. The body breaks it down into other things, and some of those other things will hang around much longer.
I don't know what the time frame is for oxycodone, but based on similar drugs, I suspect it's testable in urine for 1-5 days, testable in the blood probably 6-12 hours, and testable in the hair for about 90 days.
Why does Oxycontin cause swelling in jands snd feet?

How long does Oxycontin pain relief last if you chew it?
Well Oxycotin is the time released one, so by chewing it youre breaking the coating for the time release which would most likely make you high. due to high abuse the "new" oc's (op's) cannot be chewed, snorted, or shot up as once it hits fluid it'll lock up. however, if you have the original Oc's or Oxycodone, without a tolerance you should have pain relief for 3-6 hours. whereas swallowing an oxyCONTIN will last from 8-10.
