Pablo Picasso

I'm doing a bunch of research on the different forms of cubism for a presentation, and I was trying to figure this one out myself. It's a toughie.

However, I want to say that it's a mix of analytical and synthetic cubism. It's not a collage, so it's more like analytical in that matter. But everything else is synthetic--it has bright colors and the subject is easy to interpret.

And you have to remember that the terms for the different types of cubism weren't in existence when the artists were developing cubism, so they weren't trying to fit into a single category. Although the terms MAY have been around when this painting was created (I'm really not sure of the exact date of these terms--I just know they came later), I still don't think Picasso was trying to fit it into a specific category.

I have stopped counting, but four of his works have been sold for over 50 million dollars.

The meaning is color and shape. Why look for some kind of hidden meaning?

It's not there.

The city that Pablo Picasso painted was Guernica, Spain. This city was bombed during the Spanish civil war.

His dad was a art teacher, he gave him lessons and sent him to school where we could work as a teacher himself. He then went to the art school instituto da Guarda in La Coruna, for three years, then the art academy La Lonja in Barcelona, and lastly went to study in Madrid.

You are best to use a semi-synthetic oil. Preferably 10W40.

I chose Pablo Picasso because his good artist. Also he made his art by what he saw.

The formal conventions that were used in The Weeping Woman by Pablo Picasso were oil pants on a canvas.

Pablo-Jill did not actually die. All the sites are wrong, but if you see the entire Clone Wars series (especially the old one) you will see that Grievous disarmed and struck him down, but he only wounded him. When his body was thrown out the ship into space for all Republican Forces to see he landed on the outskirts of Coruscant and survived. During Order 66 he was with master Eeth Koth on a mission on the planted Cato Neimoidia, and they both fought together to kill all the clones. While they both survived, they're whereabouts after Order 66 are unknown, although it is assumed that they both eventually died, possibly of old age.

Braque and Picasso worked together in Cubism only.

The total number of his works is listed as 16840. This includes not only paintings, but also sculptures, drawings and ceramic works.

The picture is a childhood memory. Picasso's father was breeding doves, and he had a sister who died when she was 7 years old, which was a traumatic expericence for him to watch (then 10 years old).
Picasso used rather cold colours to give the impression of sadness, loneliness, hopelessness and melancholy. Both, the girl and the dove, have round heads and large eyes, to cause a protective instinct and show innocence.
