Generally without high quality paint-to-barrel match or first strike rounds, Magnifying scopes are near useless. A red dot or reflexive sight is preferred, but a low power 2X scope would be the best if you really wanted a cross-hair scope.

Maximum range in paintball is largely considered 150ft or 50yards, nothing that you would need a magnifying scope for are you can easily see that far with your eyes alone. Beyond that, paintballs are not the most accurate things either so even with really good paint and a really good barrel, a crosshair scope will only be telling you where the paint "might" go. The only way I would recomend a crosshair scope or magnification is if you are using first strike rounds as they will be more accurate and give you more range

A mask, marker, full air tank, and paint first of all. If you need to rent bring around 60 to 80 dollars for entrance and paint. If you don't have any of the items above you can rent them.

you mean what happens if water gets on them? well its usually bad, they will absorb the water and swell up, once they swell they are no good, the shell becomes soft and will not break and they will most likely not fit inside the marker

It depends on what your definition of "good" is. The vibe was designed to bring the performance of an electropneumatic down to the price and simplicity level of entry markers. It's a simple and dependable gun that performs very well. It's not as upgradeable as a BT or rough and tough as a tippmann but for entry level speed ball or rec ball its great.

paintballs can travel very far a straight horizontal shot @ 300fps(no apex, or flatline) could probably reach 125-140 ft. After that you can arc your shots by little incriments that will increase the range by alot. When the barrel is at a 38ish degree arc @ 295-300fps the paintball can actually reach 300 feet. A first strike paintball can actually reach 500 feet when arched correctly. also everytime you arc your barrel you can make a longer shot by at least 10 to 25 feet down range!! test it out

Use oil made for paintball guns or air tool oil. a paintball gun is essentially and air tool. the easiest way is to put 6 or so drops of oil into the place where you screw in the tank, then screw in the tank and fire a few shots. you dont need paint to do this.
