Ok if it has hit the wall firstly see if it can get up.

If it can look into his eyes and see if they are dazed at all.

If he cant get up or isn't moving. Then feel his chest and c if he is breathing. If he is he is most likely gotton knocked out. ZGive him five minutes and fan him with your hands if he hasn't 'come to' within 9 or ten minutes then I would greatly suggest take him to the vet.

If his eyes are dazed or he looks wobbly on his feet then just give him some space and he may be alright. If not then take him to the Vet.

p.s My budgie has done this and she looked really dazed from hitting the wall and falling behind the couch. She took a few minutes to be steady again but she was alright. Birds are usually strong in there own way. Just remember to stay calm and relax.

i got a parakeet just 1.but next 2 the cage i have a par of cocktail birds.my parakeet had 2eggs in the the cage this mornin....so am thinken maybe the boy cocktail had sex with it throw the gate it sounds funny but i swair this is real....no lie can somebody anser this 4 me whats good....

There is no specific way to name a parakeet. You can name it whatever you like.

All domesticated budgies originate from Australia. Native eucalyptus branches and some fruit tree branches are great. Keep in mind that there are some exception's Always make sure that the specific type of plant is safe. When have selected your branches make sure you have thoroughly cleaned them.

budgeriegars can lay up to 2 to 6 eggs in a group ;)

it is a female if, the area around the nostrils is browny. if blue, a boy. if it is female do not get another female. they are very dominant and it stresses them out. boys and girls will not mate unless in the right conditions with a nesting box. its best to get a girl and boy. although, its fine to have one budgie, as long as you have a mirrior and talk to it. sources: 2 budgies. Parakeets are also less likely to bound with you if you have two, if you have enough time to spend with it, I suggest only one. If you're busy all the time and can rarely take them out I'd maybe get two. And don't forget to clip their wings because my friend had two and one flew into the window and broke it's neck, then the other one was REALLY depressed and she had to get one named Mike who has huge eyes and a little body.

No, Parakeets only eat Fruits, Seeds, Viggies and some may have some nectar from flowers. They are Herbivorous.

seems the bird is sick, is he in a draft? does he have food and water? Be sure to keep extra warm and use a heat lamp if you have one. also give a drop or two of orange juice, this will raise his metabulism. hope this works be sure to cover cage.

We just had baby cockatiels. We fed the parents scrambled egg with 1/2 of the shell chopped up in it (with a blender). This was for extra calcium. The parents love rice and pasta so I blendered this with fresh broccoli to try to get them to eat extra veggies. It was really interesting that mom & dad wolfed down the egg and veggie mix when the babies were little but quit eating it when the babies started to eat on their own. They seem to know what is best for the little ones.

I'm sorry but no, birds from petco and other large chain pet stores are almost always inbred and are always American style budgies. If you buy from a breeder you may be able to find an English budgie. English budgies conform to the show standard below.
