Can a child on CHINS probation have the probation revoked at the age of 18 in the state of Alabama?
well, i dont know if this is correct, but one of my guy friends is in juivie becasue of probation
It's possible, especially if it is a high classed misdemeanor or a low classed felony, but, there are no guarantees when it pertains to sentencing. There are lenient judges, equitable judges and judges who will use the law to the maximum in every single case regardless of the surrounding circumstances.
Obtain legal counsel as soon as possible. If you cannot afford private counsel request the court to appoint you a public defender at the arraignment. In such a case it is not advisable to use self-representation without being fully informed of your legal rights and the consequences to entering into an agreement with the state or entering a plea to the court.
