There was a war in heaven before we came to this earth, and Satan who was cast out of heaven has encouraged man to make war not only against God but also against themselves. War brings out the worst, and sometimes the good in mankind. Man is what is known as carnal by nature and is therefore warlike. War will never cease upon this earth until the Savior comes and banishes all of the wicked. We live in an imperfect world and there will always be men who find joy in war, mostly for their own gain. You could also say peace ends in war why not start with war and continue in war sooner or later you will rest in peace

In reality and in short Universal peace cannot be achieved at any given time unless all believed and implemented a set of law (it may be religious) in a way that they limit their ways and means voluntarily and allow others to live freely without fear and force, which I say will never happen. Self understanding, respect others value, self satisfaction, fear of God etc might be may help to achieve Peace practically. Allah says, until the affected victim forgive the person who harmed to him, HE (Allah) will and never forgive". If this taken into consideration by us and act accordingly the peace automatically comes to every ones mind.

MOST people yearn for peace, for good reason. Peace between peoples and nations requires more than just toleration. Can anyone really be at peace with someone he hates?

Since Jehovah is "the God who gives peace," peace can be experienced only by people who have love for God and deep respect for his righteous principles. Clearly, our heavenly Creator does not grant peace to everyone. "'There is no peace,' my God has said, 'for the wicked ones.'" This is because the wicked refuse to let themselves be guided by God's holy spirit, a fruit of which is peace.-Romans 15:33; Isaiah 57:21; Galatians 5:22.

Peacekeeping is a way to help country torn by conflict gain sustainable peace. In achieving peace, peacekeepers utilised verious means such as negotiations, mediations and the use of force. These actions are taken in order to either stop the fight or to save the civilians population in conflicting zones.

This earth was created for living and non living things. We all share it, even though some of us dont get along. Human beings are the most baddest living things on this planet. I mean look at it. Pollution, Indangered species, you name it. So to answer your question, there will never be peace until life ends for all of us, and we can let God handle it form there.

The very word Islam comes from the Arabic word salam, meaning peace. Violence is only allowed in self-defense.

Not that you or anyone else would lose sleep over not knowing what it meant, but "Peace out" is one of the early "ebonic" terms that means "take care, I'm out/leaving" and the Boy Scout bit was added to sound even cooler (LOL... as if). 2. WHAT THE UN DOES FOR PEACE Preserving world peace is a central purpose of the United Nations. Under the Charter, Member States agree to settle disputes by peaceful means and refrain from threatening or using force against other States. Over the years, the UN has played a major role in helping defuse international crises and in resolving protracted conflicts. It has undertaken complex operations involving peacemaking, peacekeeping and humanitarian assistance. It has worked to prevent conflicts from breaking out. And after a conflict, it has increasingly undertaken action to address the root causes of war and lay the foundation for durable peace. UN efforts have produced dramatic results. The UN helped defuse the Cuban missile crisis in 1962 and the Middle East crisis in 1973. In 1988, a UN-sponsored peace settlement ended the Iran-Iraq war, and the following year UN-sponsored negotiations led to the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.
