I feel like i have to give up these You know how Jesus told that guy he had to sell everything his got to be with him That's kinda the problem How do you know for sure that God is convicting me?

Great Question! Are you a believer or are you considering becoming a Christian? If you have come to the place where you feel that you are lost forever because of sin and that your only hope is in Christ's payment for your sin, then I can guarantee you that God is talking to you. However, if you are feeling like you must give everything you own in order to be saved than you can know for sure that it's not God you are hearing from. Salvation is about God reaching out to you, not the other way around. Salvation is the free gift of God through Christ. In order to be saved you must believe in the blood of Christ as your one hope of salvation from sin, and you must recognize that Jesus is Lord, your Lord, and you now belong to Him. That's it. Once saved you will spend the rest of your life growing closer to the one who loved you and died to pay for your sin and spend eternity with you. If you are already a believer and your possessions are more important to you than God, then it may well be the Lord who is talking to you. However, I doubt God wants you to sell everything you have. What He wants is your heart. He wants you to love Him more than anything else. As a believer, if you have anything in your heart that you place before God then He will deal with you on that issue. He wants you to be willing to place Him and what He wants from you before everything else. If you are unwilling to place God before the things you own then you need to get on your knees and ask God to make you willing. It is God who works in you to will and to do according to His good pleasure. On our own we are not able to do all that God asks, but he is able to change us if we are willing. Always remember that God knows what is best for you, and if He wants something from you then you can be sure that your life will be infinitely better by giving Him what He wants. He wants to give you His joy and sometimes there are things in our lives that are blocking what God has for us.

What happens to people who deny the trinity?

AnswerNothing much is likely to happen to people who deny the Trinity. The Trinity was never mentioned in the Bible, apart from a brief mention in 1 John, where it first appeared in a Latin translation in the fifth century. The doctrine of the Holy Trinity became important in the fourth century, when one branch of Christianity developed and defended it, while another, the Arians, opposed the doctrine. Had the Arians won that contest, the doctrine of the holy Trinity, as we know it, would not exist today.

What was in the Ark and where is the scripture that tells this?

Is Paul and Jan Crouch divorce?

No they are not divorced. They are still married. This may not be altogether true....

I hate this and as much as this hurts: Here seems to be the most current update.

It's said the Co-founder of Trinity Broadcasting Network TBN did file for Divorce in 2010. The quote was stated as: Janice Crouch filed for the divorce of her estranged husband Paul Franklin Crouch ...which might explain why Jan lives in Florida. Janice Crouch, Vice-President, currently earns $361,000 from TBN so long as she continues to appear on broadcasts.

Founder Paul Crouch remains living in California. It's claimed Paul Crouch Sr. is not a stranger to the legal system and has been involved in more than one legal settlement. One of which a very popular case --despite everything held in low key:

A 1998 scandal which involved Paul Crouch Founder of TBN in an alleged gay relation. The network, little known outside fundamentalist Christian circles, was buffeted by unwanted publicity when it surfaced from the The Times that Crouch had paid a former employee Enoch Lonnie Ford $425,000 to keep silent about an alleged homosexual tryst. case numbers: 04CC05609, 01CF0559, Solano Courts case number: FCM107776 San Bernardino County: M618996.

This would certainly explain what brought about the 2010 Divorce. Janice and Paul project the image of a happily married couple. But off the air, they lead separate lives and almost never stay under the same roof, sleeping in separate bedrooms according to former TBN employees and others who have spent time with the couple.

(On a personal Note: This such a shame because I thought the world of those folks. Such a tragedy. But when you embezzle money laundering Gods money ...expect this punishment).

Paul Crouch Jr. abruptly resigned OCT 10 2011 from Trinity Broadcasting Network to keep his name clear.

Other Information: about TBN ...another Legal case was filed by former head of finance TBN which filed tese first set of charges.

Then The Big Headlines hit the Public with this one !

A second legal charge has been filed by TBN's Paul and Jan Crouch's - Granddaughter which is Suing for Unlawful Distribution of 'Charitable Assets'

Posted on February 10, 2012

It appears that Paul and Jan Crouch, founders of TV empire Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) need to keep their friends close, and their enemies even closer - especially if that enemy is one of their grandchildren.

An article in the Christian Post reveals that Brittany B. Koper, granddaughter of Paul and Jan Crouch, is suing her former attorneys for "breach of duties, inflicting emotional distress and professional negligence." Apparently the attorneys advised her to help cover up financial abuse and fraud at TBN.

After Koper took charge of TBN's finance department, she allegedly discovered illegal financial practices on the part of the company's directors, but was told to protect the information.

"Following her appointment, Ms. Koper was specifically instructed to falsify public financial disclosures, to falsify government records, and to otherwise cover up conduct of the TBN Companies and their directors that Ms. Koper reasonably believed to be unlawful," the suit claims.

None of this is surprising, but if the allegations are true, it's going to be hard for a lot of people to turn a deaf ear to someone as close to the family as a grandchild. Many will still defend them and claim this attack is from the devil, however, it doesn't sound like Roper set out on this course empty handed. It appears she has some leverage:

Her attorney, MacLeod, also told the OC Register that Koper is preparing a package of documents regarding her charges that she will submit to the Internal Revenue Service for review.

It looks like she took evidence of the fraud with her when she left. Now, this should get very, very interesting.

Why do you speak in tongues why do pastor speak in tongues?

To be honest i am scared when i see things like that. I rarely go to churches because of that.

But a fact in the Bible.

THOU SHALL NOT SPEAK TONGUES IN CHURCH WITHOUT A REAL INTERPRETER!

Throughout all of 1 Corinthians it is said.

14:2,7,9,11,15,27,28,33.

By the way in verse 11 it says Barbarian. This is not good. You'll be amazed of what is said. I love this type of things in the Bible.

Are reason and purpose the same?

They are similar but not exactly the same. Reason is a consideration or explanation offered in support of an opinion. Purpose is like why something is done or the reason which something is done. A purpose also helps to understand a person's reasons or reasoning.

Another answer:

All scholars of Mesopotamia literature and most biblical scholars acknowledge that the flood story found in Atrahasis and Gilgamesh was written long before the biblical one. The story of Noah uses almost exactly the same framework as the older story with minor differences in detail. Both stories condemn indiscriminate violence, but in the Gilgamesh Epic it is the genocide created by the flood that is condemned rather than human wickedness. Humanity is innocent in the Mesopotamian story and we are not told that the flood hero is singled out because of righteousness.

One possible explanation of the similarities between the two stories is that the Genesis story may have been deliberately created from the Mesopotamian one when the Jews were exiled in Babylon. It's condemnation of a corrupt and violent civilization echoes the messages of Israel's prophets who foretold a similar judgement on Babylon for her sins against the nation. Similarly, the rescue of a small band of righteous believers who are returned to their land provides an apt metaphor for the eventual return of the Judean exiles. In other words, this is highly figurative, underground resistance literature - not a scientific description of an ancient geological event.
