The Jews also celebrated a Pentecost, also known as Shavuot, from the second century BCE onwards, and hence when the New Testament was being written. The bible is clear that Jesus was a Jew in the lineage of King David on his earthly adopted father Joseph side.

The Assemblies of God is a denomination itself. They do fall under the Pentecostal label though. They have 16 fundamental truths that all churches must adhere to, but are fairly autonomous.

William J Seymour was a pupil of his, who stood outside the class to receive his teachings because he was not allowed by Parham to stay in the class because of his ethnicity. The Assemblies of God have what they call the "16 fundamental Truths" In order to be a part of this, the particular church must abide by these doctrines regardless if they are a district church or a independent church. The "Assemblies of God has a superintendent for the national and the district headquarters. Under the assistant superintendent, one has the head presbyter and then other presbyters under him. The Presbyter and district superintendent leads churches that are governed on their own but has full authority over churches in the district.

Those who study the Historical Jesus attempt to put a chronology of Jesus of Nazareth from lineage directly back to King David, from details of his life and death recorded by contemporaries, through the chronology of the writings of Apostles to the establishing of the Christian Canon 300+ years later by the Council of Ephesus (325 AD). It should be noted that a large number of Christians do not accept or believe in the efforts and conclusions reached by scholars pursuing the Historical Jesus idea. The first known written record of Jesus' life and teachings is called the Q Document. It supposedly has in it notes of the teachings that appear in the four Gospels. The author of the Q Document is unknown and the writing themselves do not lend themselves to narrative. Not all scholars accept this document as canon in Holy Scripture. The letters that Saul/Paul wrote to the Christian communities he established seem to have been written between 40 and 60 AD. With respect to the four Gospels, researchers date the writing of the Gospel of Mark to the period between 55 and 65 AD. This was the first of the four Gospels of the Christian Canon. Its brevity could indicate that Mark's intended audience was universal. Matthew's Gospel is directed at the Jews for establishing Jesus as The Messiah. It was written during the period of active warfare between the Israelis and the Roman occupation. That would place Matthew's writing of his Gospel around 70-75 AM. Luke's Gospel appeared during the early 80s AD, was written in Greek and directed to a Greek culture that was ubiquitous during that period. Great Question! Are you a believer or are you considering becoming a Christian? If you have come to the place where you feel that you are lost forever because of sin and that your only hope is in Christ's payment for your sin, then I can guarantee you that God is talking to you. However, if you are feeling like you must give everything you own in order to be saved than you can know for sure that it's not God you are hearing from. Salvation is about God reaching out to you, not the other way around. Salvation is the free gift of God through Christ. In order to be saved you must believe in the blood of Christ as your one hope of salvation from sin, and you must recognize that Jesus is Lord, your Lord, and you now belong to Him. That's it. Once saved you will spend the rest of your life growing closer to the one who loved you and died to pay for your sin and spend eternity with you. If you are already a believer and your possessions are more important to you than God, then it may well be the Lord who is talking to you. However, I doubt God wants you to sell everything you have. What He wants is your heart. He wants you to love Him more than anything else. As a believer, if you have anything in your heart that you place before God then He will deal with you on that issue. He wants you to be willing to place Him and what He wants from you before everything else. If you are unwilling to place God before the things you own then you need to get on your knees and ask God to make you willing. It is God who works in you to will and to do according to His good pleasure. On our own we are not able to do all that God asks, but he is able to change us if we are willing. Always remember that God knows what is best for you, and if He wants something from you then you can be sure that your life will be infinitely better by giving Him what He wants. He wants to give you His joy and sometimes there are things in our lives that are blocking what God has for us.

The quote was stated as: Janice Crouch filed for the divorce of her estranged husband Paul Franklin Crouch ...which might explain why Jan lives in Florida. Janice Crouch, Vice-President, currently earns $361,000 from TBN so long as she continues to appear on broadcasts.
Founder Paul Crouch remains living in California. It's claimed Paul Crouch Sr. is not a stranger to the legal system and has been involved in more than one legal settlement. One of which a very popular case --despite everything held in low key:
A 1998 scandal which involved Paul Crouch Founder of TBN in an alleged gay relation. This would certainly explain what brought about the 2010 Divorce. Janice and Paul project the image of a happily married couple. But off the air, they lead separate lives and almost never stay under the same roof, sleeping in separate bedrooms according to former TBN employees and others who have spent time with the couple.
(On a personal Note: This such a shame because I thought the world of those folks. Such a tragedy. But when you embezzle money laundering Gods money ...expect this punishment).

It appears that Paul and Jan Crouch, founders of TV empire Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) need to keep their friends close, and their enemies even closer - especially if that enemy is one of their grandchildren.
An article in the Christian Post reveals that Brittany B. Koper, granddaughter of Paul and Jan Crouch, is suing her former attorneys for "breach of duties, inflicting emotional distress and professional negligence." Apparently the attorneys advised her to help cover up financial abuse and fraud at TBN.
After Koper took charge of TBN's finance department, she allegedly discovered illegal financial practices on the part of the company's directors, but was told to protect the information.
"Following her appointment, Ms. Koper was specifically instructed to falsify public financial disclosures, to falsify government records, and to otherwise cover up conduct of the TBN Companies and their directors that Ms. Koper reasonably believed to be unlawful," the suit claims.
None of this is surprising, but if the allegations are true, it's going to be hard for a lot of people to turn a deaf ear to someone as close to the family as a grandchild. Many will still defend them and claim this attack is from the devil, however, it doesn't sound like Roper set out on this course empty handed. It appears she has some leverage:
Her attorney, MacLeod, also told the OC Register that Koper is preparing a package of documents regarding her charges that she will submit to the Internal Revenue Service for review.
It looks like she took evidence of the fraud with her when she left. Now, this should get very, very interesting.

I asked myself this many times. If you dont have the kinda faith to where you know that god is going to bless as you ask because you are obedient to him and submissive, well then you wont be blessing anything but someone sneezing ;)
