The answer to THAT question is, unless directed by your physician, you should not take more than 1000mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen) at one time, so that you can avoid liver damage. Also, do not take more than 4000mg of Tylenol in a 24 hour period. As a side note, hopefully you are asking about this medication because you have severe and/or chronic pain, and not for the "high" of which some speak!

It's very euphoric when you take it. Well, depending on the strength, really. If you take a Percocet 10, you'll feel the effects after only one pill. But a first time user of Perc's might want to take an anti-emetic (anti-nausea) medicine with it. When you start to itch, you know you're about to be in heaven. Anything could happen in front of you and you won't give a flip about it. For me, the best thing to do when a Perc high begins is to sit or lay on my bed, watching TV. Also, playing a video game makes you feel great because you feel like you can beat the game with ease. Be careful if you choose to walk around somewhere. If you're a first time user of Percocet, then you will feel dizzy and may feel a little nauseated. But after about an hour, you feel just the high. The best part about being a first time user is that the high lasts longer. A first time user will have a high that will last up to 3 1/2 hours. Well, most drug tests scan for things like Amphetamines, THC (Marijuana), and illegal stuff like that, and not steroids. The drug tests can detect other things if they scan for those things.

Anyway, Prednisone is a steroid, so it would show up as a steroid if they were testing for that.

And if it did show up as something, all you'd have to do is show proof of prescription.

It depends on your weight, mtabolism and consumption. Usually 24-72 hours if you dont take any. If for example you take one vicodin 5 it will be gone the next day but if you take multiple pills then it takes 24-72 hours. Well Ive heard that is stays in your system 2-5 days after using, However I took 1- 7.5 mg Hydrocodone for fri-tues (1 aday) tonight is wed (24 hours later) after using and I took a home drug test that I purchased from CVS and it showed up as a "weak negative" "which is technically negative but arouses suspicion" So I would assume that tomorrw would be a strong negative. If you have been taking a low dosage(less than 8mg a day for about a week), three days should be fine. If you've been taking upwards of 8-24mg a day for a week or more, three days may not be enough. I would wait until you feel "the need" to take opiates again.

Some pearles:

If the person is on percocet at normal doses and they test positive for opiates they are either taking other drugs or huge doses of percocet. Expect it to be negative if they are takign normal amounts.

Check a tylenol level. If it is negative they are not taking the percocet, which has tylenol in it, but rather some other opiate.
