What is the technical name for a fear of being hungry or of starving?
There is no exact name for it. (I take it you mean that they starve and have a fear of being hungry, not a fear of hunger and a fear of starving, which would be two opposite things). However, both are ideals held in eating disorders, the two most common being bulimia and anorexia.

How do you get over a fear of singing in public?
You can overcome stagefright by acting as though the audience wasn't even there. If you must face the audience, and you are scared over your mind about it, just know that every person in the audience wants you to do good. Think of something that makes you happy. For example, the funny face your dog made yesterday cracked you up. Think of that as you say your lines and just remember that messing up your lines isn't going to kill you and before you know it the play will be over. I've had many experiences with stagefright and have grown to know that it doesn't matter what anyone thinks and I truly know that they've all come to see a show, not anyone in particular. And remember: No one is out to get you.

What is the fear of breaking up called?
Commitment phobia. Just sounds as though it is just out of text book and has no depth and understanding. Parents in general love their children, want them to have secure and happy futures and to be well rounded and happy individuals. I was fooled, lied to and cheated on for so long, that I was determined that our offspring should all 5 of them enjoy and grow in their chosen spheres of higher education. So hid my pain (though I am sure they knew). They are now all different, successful and great fun, but I don't want put pressure on them and lead my life through them.
My regrets: That I am now late 50's, that I have Multiple Sclerosis which has improved through the gym +++ and diet, so it is not visibly obvious, but deep down I am scared it will progress.
My positives: That the gym and my determination has improved me physically, I am toned and more confident. That the shock of being so cheated on made me shape my mind, so I completed a Masters Degree ( part time) despite the yelling at me about a stupid course etc, the subject is "History" !!!!!!!
So it is not just commitment phobia it includes love for a family and circumstances. I no longer have respect for a liar. Yes I wish I had never met him. I understand that if my illness does progress and I am still with him, to the outside world he will look caring, but those who understand narcissism will know differently.
However after one more family commitment ( a wedding) please please let me be brave enough to leave.
