I think I have Fragariaphobia, but not severely. I just wont eat strawberries. The little creatures in the fruit are known as the spotted wing drosophilas, which lay eggs inside strawberries. They then hatch and crawl out after being washed in the warm saltwater solution. The invasive fly arrived in the USA in 2008 and eventually spread nationwide.

• Being afraid of becoming a father is not a phobia, but very natural. While some men are ecstatic they will become a father many men are terrified for fear they will not be a good provider or a good father to that child as well as perhaps fear of things not being normal again with their spouse and it is a whole new experience for him. This is a normal reaction for many young men when the subject of having children is brought up. Couples who are about to start their families are very nervous at first because it's simply fear of the unknown (something they have never done before) but, if it is well planned then fatherhood can be a very enjoyable part of the individual's life and most fathers dote on their children. To fear about such things is losing joy in one's life. Young men who are about to become fathers should realize they are not alone and they have the spouse and generally both sides of the family to help out; especially the grandparents.

Phobia (from the Greek word for "fear") is an unnatural yet very intense fear of a certain element, noun, person, or situation. For example, people who don't like being near, being in, or swimming in water are Aquaphobic. People who don't like being near or seeing fire are Pyrophobic. And people who don't like being in confined spaces are Claustrophobic.

Autophobia- The fear of bring left out or isolated.

I am not sure whether you are referring to a physical or emotional hurt. If you are referring to physical pain then there is the phobia listed below.

Agliophobia - Fear of pain.

If you are really scared of something and you really want to face your fears take my advice. For example if you are scared of the dentist, don't be afraid and go in to the dentist room on your own. If your parent or guardian keeps coming in with you it will be a habit that you will have for a long time. If you are scared of heights, there has been something that has scared you and disabled you from going to a height. It is 90% not likely that it will happen again. Go onto a balcony and see there is nothing to be scared of. Gradually get higher everyday and it will certainly help!

I found no specific scientific term for the fear you described. However, please remember that a lack of scientific term does not mean the fear is not real to the sufferer. Technological advances and changes in society in general often create new fears as well. The list of phobias is not absolute and new terms are coined when a commonality of fears presents itself.

Androchaetophobia is the fear of hairy men. Chaetophobia is the fear of hairy people. Androphobia is the fear of men.

It's called Didaskaleinophobia. It can be due to separation anxiety eg. separation from parents or home. It tends to happen when a child is afraid of something that might challenge them eg. exams. Some children enjoy a challenge but to others it can be very fearful. The most common ways a child will deal with this is....being clingy before you leave them, faking illness to stay off, having nightmares, tantrums, exaggerating bad things that have happened and just plain refusal.

Anuptaphobia is the fear of STAYING single.

The fear of Pyrophobia is when someone is afraid of fire or anything involving fire. Fireworks, cooking, lighting a match, or even birthday candles on a cake. When somebody with that disorder is near fire they WILL FREAK OUT!

The humble baked bean, considered to be the staple diets of cowboys, first created back in 1829. Generally made using haricot beans, baked in earthenware pots and smothered in tomato sauce - what on earth could be scary about them? Is it the container that they are packed in? Maybe it's the colour of the beans? Is it the texture? Unless you are actually scared of baked beans, it's hard to tell… but they don't look that scary to me. The clinical name for the fear of baked beans is called Leguminophobia.

The fear of creating or making decisions is decidophobia. The fear of commitment is known as "Commitment Phobia." There is no scientific name for it. Not sure what the fear of making plans is. Hope I helped.
