Probably the easiest way is to humor Bill's grandfather in his annoying little game. Find the pokemon he asks for and show it to him he will reward you with the stone type matching the pokemon he shows you. I think you need a staryu to get the water stone. (only works once)

Another low stress method is Route 42 Fisherman Tully, Defeat him and collect his phone number. When he calls you for a rematch beat him again and he will give you a Water Stone as a reward. His level 19 Qwuilfish shouldnt be a problem but rematch callers can be quite unpredictable so there really is no telling how long this could take. (genuinely not sure if this will work more than once. I'm leaning towards no)

You could try the Bug Catching Contest on tuesday thursday and sunday, first prize has a 1 in 10 chance of being a water stone. Your odds are so terrible I wouldnt count on this one. (Works more than once, but can only work after you get the national dex)

If your ok with distances then there is a water stone just lying around in the Sea Foam Islands, its near the lower left portion of B2F (downstairs in laymans terms). (only works once)

If you have a staryu and a pokewalker and have traded a pokemon over the GTS (global trade station located in Goldenrod) Then you can pick up a water stone randomly while walking in the Beyond the Sea Course. the stone is kind of rare so I wouldnt get too jumpy about this method either. (Unlimited Supply)

Participate in Events at the Pokeathlon Dome and work up 2500 pts. The water stone can be purchased only on Wednesday. (not sure if this supply is unlimited but I think its safe to assume that it is)

Unfortunatly those are the only methods I can think of combined with the only ones available on Bulbapedia, if your going for a 100% pokedex it doesnt bode well.

Dusksnoir can't be evolved but Dusclops can evolve into Dusksnoir by giving him a reaper cloth, whitch can be found east of the northern entrance on Route 229. You need cut to get to it.

Go into the Pokemart type place in Mahogany Town and see Lance bust a hole through the floor with his mind.

Jump down the hole and defeat team rocket. Get out and you should be able to fight the Ice gym leader Pryce.

There is a gameshark code but there are two bad conditions I have:

1. I am not sure that it will work for Crystal, but you can try it.

2. I can only remember half of the code.

That half of the code is the last 4 characters: BAD7.

You can´t find sandshrew in Fire Red, you have to trade from another versions, like leaf green.

However, in Leaf Green you can find it West of Lt. Surge's town.

You can't because Pokemon gold, silver and crystal, which are in johto are on gameboy colour and Pokemon ruby, sapphire and emerald, which are in hoenn are on gameboy advance.

Pokemon shiny gold, which is also in johto is on gameboy advance but it isn't an official Pokemon video game.

Just put Pokemon in your party and use Flash. See if any of them can use it. And Sceptile and Castform etc can use it. But I would recommend not putting it on Sceptile if you started with that because it can learn more moves that are MUCH better in battle (You can get it removed in Lilycove, Pokemon Emerald and maybe Ruby, Sapphire?)

There is an awesome way so you can just encounter any Pokemon you want and then use a cheat to get masterballs easy to catch em' all. First go to http://www.supercheats.com/gameboyadvance/pokemonemeraldcodes.htm and scroll down till you reach the entry anmed "Sweet Codes of Happiness" this will give you a code to encounter any Pokemon you want. now that you have that enter this code in: 82005274 0001, this will let you buy master balls at the shop for $1. It will just show the item that's supposed to be there but it's really masterballs. now enter the Pokemon code you want (don't forget the master code though) and walk around a place where you like the lvl of the Pokemon to be like Artisan cave ranges from lvl 40-50 or the beginning place with lvl 2-5. so now just buy all the masterballs you want, and go catch all of the Pokemon.

You can get fly west of Celadon city. Before you see snorlax use cut on the cut bush to the north and go in the gap. Then go west until you see a house. Enter the house and talk to the woman in the house. She will give you fly.

(Note:With fly you can do the Mew glitch!)
