People can get hurt or killed. People may be breaking the law by engaging in violence. People can make their point without resorting to violence. Violence can often undermine a protest as the protesters will be accused of being bad people and so their protest is not valid. It gives those they are protesting against something to use against the protesters. So for these and other reasons there should not be violence at protests.

The Detriot Riot of 1967 was a riot that was started after police tried to break up a party for a veteran that was happening after drinking hours. There were around eight people at the bar and the police tried to arrest them all. People began to protest around the bar and try to fight off the police. This happened in a primarly black neighborhood, and racism was still a problem. The police were very brutal in trying to make this arrest. As the word spread about the arrest people began to set fires and vandalize. It only took 48 hours for the national guard to be called in. It took five days for the police to get the city back under control. After this happened 43 people had died, 1189 had been injured, and then 7000 people were arrested.

England was taxing the colonies to pay for the war debt, which the colonists thought was unfair. The colonists also thought that their rights and freedoms were being threatened. Lastly, England suspended the colonies new elected assembly.

it makes it a lot harder to do things with friends, it certainly affects your confidence and the way people percieve you. instead of being percieved on, perhaps; intelligence you get rated on how you look and therefore due to obesity you perhaps don't get the same oppertunities as a slimmer person would. people will always choose a slimmer person over an obese one as they seem to think an obese person is lazy and incapable of tasks that a slimmer person could do. this isn't always true and is often an unfair perception on obese people.

however being obese isn't all bad as people generally have to take you on your personality and this means you tend to find more genuine friends. obese people tend to be smiley and jolly people this is often a cover for underlying unhappiness.
