Do all girls have pubic hair?

Yes. It is the first stage of puberty in girls. It appears in a girl's pubic area (V-shaped patch of skin between hip bones and legs) and vulva (folds of skin and tissue between legs). Before puberty begins, there are can be no hair at all, or a few light, short hairs. Once puberty starts, hair begins to grow and darken. Sometimes it can be the same color of the hair on a girl's head, other times it may not. Over time, the hair grows in more thickly and starts to become curly and coarse, forming a triangular patch. As a girl grows older, the hair may spread down to onto the tops of her inner thighs or have a narrow line of hair trail up to the belly button.

Is it normal for a ten year old to get pubic hair?

It is definitely below the average age that boys begin puberty.

No, it is not natural. 5 is very young for a boy to develop pubic hair. Boys enter puberty later than girls - Although there is a wide range of normal, they are usually around 10 to 12 years of age - lasting until around age 16 or 17.

"Precocious puberty" or early puberty can be defined (for medical purposes) as onset before 8 years in girls or 9 years in boys. As a first outward change in appearance - the growth of pubic hair in boys, with onset before 9.5 years.

While most children with precocious puberty are medically "normal", a 5 year old boy with pubic hair should see his pediatrician for an evaluation to rule out a serious medical condition.

Early sexual development deserves evaluation because it may:

- induce early bone maturation and reduce eventual adult height

- indicate the presence of a tumor or other serious problem

Even where there is no disease, unusually early puberty can have adverse effects on social behavior and psychological development.

The doctor will most likely run some blood tests and depending on those results may want an MRI scan.

Treatment will of course depend on the diagnoses but it's goal will be to suppress and slow down any further premature physical development.

Is it normal for adolescent girl to feel sexual thoughts a her cousins?

No, that's just foul

Why is it foul? Sexual sattraction is usually firstly by appearance, especially for boys. If a chap's girl cousin or even sister is good looking, he may naturally be attracted to her. The thing is to avoid sexual activity, which may lead to deformed babies.

A:It is not normal to have sexual thoughts for your relatives at all. You may find them attractive but that is not having sexual thoughts. It is best not to get involved sexually with close relatives anyway as it is called incest which is illegal.

Why is the endocrine system important during puberty?

i have a grandson with pituitary gland problems. as i understand it (and I am an RN). The pituitary is the mother gland of them all and controls everything from growth to breathing, heart rate, temperature regulation, sugar use, (diabetes,). the main hormone as i understand it that regulates growth and development is the GHT or growth hormone, also IGF this hormone actually does regulate growth, sexual organ development, etc. the good news is. most of these can be given and normal devolpment obtained. the cortisol level is what we are dealing with the most right now, and without it the baby has no energy, little temperature regulation, can't fight infection, actually almost died from an ear infection before we knew he wasn't secreting the hormones he needed. He is doing better now he is taking an oral med called hydrocorisone. his growth factor is being checked now and if it is low he has to have shots everyday just like diabetes.

Im 18 and haven't gone through puberty yet?

It can happen so please don't worry. You must ask your mom without delay to take you to see your doctor for some reassurance. It is possible that you may need some hormone therapy to induce your menstruation.

You are 13 you have a deep voice pubic and armpit hair are you likely to have facial hair by 15 at this rate?

According to the Tanner System for measuring puberty you would be at Tanner Stage 3 going into Stage 4 (out of a possible 5). At Stage 3 the voice starts to "break," there should be dark and thick pubic hair, but it won't yet have spread to the insides of the thighs or up to the navel (belly button). At Stage 4 axillary (arm pit hair) starts to grow and acne also starts to appear. Stage 5 is reached when you have facial hair growing down the sides of your face and on your chin (as well as on your top lip), your pubic hair spreads to your inner thighs & up to your navel, you may also start to grow chest hair. Your penis and testes will have reached their adult size and your voice will have completely broken. At completion of Stage 5 you will also have reached your full height and you will have broader shoulders and an adult physique rather than a boy's physique.

Do bald men have pubic hair?

Hair grows fastest from the teens years to the 40's, then growth slows. The fact that hairs are not replaced as fats as they shed leads to hair thinning and some degree of baldness (alopecia).

Most common type, male pattern baldness, is a genetically determined, sex-influenced condition. It's thought to be caused by a delayed-action gene that "switches on" in adulthood and changes the response of hair follicles to DHT (dihydrotestosterone), a metabolite of testosterone. As a result, the follicular growth cycles become so short that many hairs never emerge from their follicles before shedding, and those that do are fine vellus hairs that look like peach fuzz in the "bald" area.

Can your voice break when your a small 11 year old And can it sound like a cold or husky throat?

It has nothing to do with size or age, except in a general sense. Your voice "breaks" when puberty sets in. It is a "secondary sexual characteristic." Usually, your voice goes back and forth as the vocal chords start elongating, creating the characteristic men's "Adam's apple" in the throat. It can sound like a hoarse or husky throat at times, but only for short bursts, not over a long period of time. Thank you!

Can early puberty make a man infertile?

Not likely, since it happens well before he is a man, and just means he will be sexually mature/developed before the other kids his age.

Can a girl's voice get deeper in puberty?

When you are having sex? No it doesn't change at all.

Guys voices usually deepen when they go through puberty. Girls also go through physical changes that change the quality of their voice, but it usually does not cause their voices to drop significantly in pitch like happens to guys. Think about it a moment - when you listen to them, can't you usually tell the difference between a grown woman and a little girl just from how their voices sound?
