In rainforest they are many kind of animals like monkey,cheetah,birds,and chipmunks and 100 more thing!!

Possibly a forest fire. That would leave the forest as a meadow or prairie, to start all over again.

nothing can be done to stop rainforests from being destroyed if people dont know their importance,so in short we need to raise awareness and importance of rainforests through campeigns so that people can get to know how we are affected if these rainforests are destroyed and then we can take ie from there.

Yes, particular kinds of cactus plants can survive in the rain forest. But their adaptations are different from those that survive in the desert. They're known as epiphytes, because their roots dangle in the air. They aren't rooted in soil. Epiphytes grow on tree branches. They deal with light, not moisture deprivation. On the rain forest floor, they wouldn't get anywhere near the light that they need. So they've adapted by growing higher up in the rain forest canopy.

The rain forests are in danger because they are being cut down and turned into farm or grazing land. And not only are they being destroyed, the environment is being changed so the forests cannot even recover.

Ans. The rain forest is in danger because of man's illegal logging and also because of forest fires. Much of the tress are being cut down every day, but only few are being planted for replacement.

5th: mosses and lichens that live on trees

The above sentence is inadaquate. I have done research on the tropical dry forest and I acknowledge that there is very little information on this subject. However, I have found that endangered animals of the tropical dry forest include the Kouprey (a species of wild cattle specific to Indochina), the Orange-necked partridge (also of Indochina), the Black-and-tawny seedeater from the Chiquitano forest of South America, the Ploughshare Tortoise (from Madagascar), the Timor python and the Komodo dragon, both of which dwell in the forests of the Lesser Sunda Islands in the Java Sea.

About 30 percent of 100 is destroyed. But nowadays people don't really care anymore.... But also scientists and human - environmental- lovers are trying to put effort in this by helping to plant more trees and rebuilt forests.

The Rainforests are where a large portion of the oxygen is produced on the planet, and where carbon dioxide is removed from the atmosphere. The loss of these forests is upsetting the ecology of the planet. With no oxygen, animals will all die.

The trees are taller in the rainforest than here and to answer your question trees dont have a fixed height in the rainforest but the taller the trees the more water(rain)and sunlight they get.

Seriously, I live in a temperate rainforest here in the Pacific Northwest, and it gets plenty of sunlight. It is a mixture of sunlight AND rain that makes a rainforest grow.

They don't use the rainforest. It's the land that the rainforest was once on that is used. Rainforests are cut down and burned to allow for more farming to be done, and grass seed to be sown so cattle can graze in those areas. The more land that a cattle baron can purchase, the larger his cattle herd can be and the more profit he can obtain when selling excess stock. Land that had been "improved" or been converted from rainforest to agricultural land is cheaper than land that has been used for agricultural purposes, thus making it a good investment for such ranchers to make as a means to increase their land size and thus their herd as well.

A tropical rainforest gets much more precipitation than a desert gets, so, the tropical rain forest's soil is even more moister than dessert soil, the dessert soil is exceedingly dry.

People who cut down rainforests are mostly loggers and construction workers. Loggers, as the name suggests, sell timber for a living. Thus, they have to cut down trees from the rainforest to support their business. Construction workers cut down rainforests to clear land for construction of buildings.
