What do you do if the crown falls out of your tooth with most of the tooth and the post?

Should I get my small cavity drilled without or with Novocain?
It depends on your tolerance to pain. Even if your cavity is small, if the drill or polisher gets near the nerve, its going to send shocking pain. I had a very deep cavity that I had filled and had mistakenly taken quite a bit of Vitamin C before the procedure. Vitamin C will prevent Novocaine from working. It was very painful, but at my threshold.
On the other hand, Novocaine is pretty shocking to the body and to the immune system itself. If you're thinking of forgoing it for health reasons, and the cavity is small, it might be worth it to give it a try. You can always ask for Novocaine halfway through if you need it.
Headaches and head pressure are a real 'pain' to contend with especially when it keeps reoccurring. And, headache as a symptom is not easy to track down because it can have many causes, including:
Since it has been a year and a half, I'd start with your family doctor. He/she can try to rule out the different possibilities and try to narrow it down.
You should also visit a dentist to rule out an actual tooth problem, if a problem exists. Ask them to do an X-ray of the root-canal. On a root canal I had done, the old type of posts used were pressing on a nerve. For mine, the tooth finally split in half (front came off) and the pain went away... of course, I lost that tooth, though.
I doubt a dentist or Dr would give you an antibiotic because it's been so long since the procedure. But do ask your GP to check your sinuses and ENT (ears, nose, throat).
Covert caries means hidden caries. This caries can only be seen by radiograph
The best possible answers are root canal operations, wisdom teeth taken out, braces, bridge operations, and any toothimplants...Hope thathelp.
I would assume antibiotics.
After you take antibiotics, though, it is important to take some form of a probiotic to put the 'good bacteria' back up where it needs to be since antibiotics wipe out harmful and helpful bacteria.
How much does scaling and root planning cost?
I just paid $225 per quadrant. They were able to do two quadrants one day and two the following week thus completing the entire mouth. Aggressive and discomforting at times but my mouth is happy for it!
Can you become deaf from a root canal is there a nerve from your ear to you teeth?
The answer is yes. There are two very important neves that run alongside the "Venus Mask" --- the parietal nerve and the oral-maxillofacial neve. That is why, before you have a wisdom tooth pulled, you're required to sign papers that warn you of the possibilities of damage to (either) nerve, including nerve damage to the ear. The same holds true if you undergo a "Typoid Mastectomy Revision" (a Cholestiatoma) in (either) ear.
What I said does not necessarlly hold true for a "simple" procedure such as a root-canal procedure. However, I've been warned by those who have had root canal fillings, that (this) will weaken your teeth and can be easily broken or dislodged.
I find that to be true. I've had 4 root canal procedures, and yes, I've lost all of (the teeth, due to weakening). I would never, IMO, suggest that (anyone) have a root canal filling. I've seen the results --- and, now I'm facing implants.

Is a patient usually charged full price to have an partially completed root canal finished?
This can go several ways. If you have the same dentist and they just did a partial root canal (sounds odd to me) and you are going back, then you could have paid for the full root canal so check. If not, then yes, you would only pay half. Some people also don't realize that if your dentist does something wrong with a crown, root canal then he/she shouldn't double charge you. Don't pay a second time in this case!
- Because a root canal is expensive and it can't be taken back once the service is provided most offices require payment at the first visit. Many general dentists and some endodontists prefer to do root canals in 2 or sometimes even 3 appointments especially if there is too much infection present. The subsequent visits to finish the root canal should be already covered except for sometimes the permanent filling and of course the crown.
You are going to have to have an injection whether you have the tooth pulled or root canal therapy. You really need to talk to your dentist to decide what is the best situation for your tooth. If it is just a case of a filling falling out though you shouldn't need root canal therapy but you might still need an injection for the repair of the tooth if the dentist needs to do any work to fill the cavity.
Can you pop the puss bag on your gum when needing a root canal?
A dentist would probably tell you not to do that, but I've done it on a number of abscesses. If you want to do that, rinse your mouth with warm salty water a few times. Then put your forefinger in the canyon where your teeth end and cheek begins and push upward along the side of the tooth. You may need to do this a few times to clear the abscess. Rinse with warm salt water after doing each "treatment."
Which term is given to the area at which three roots divide?
The term given to the area at which three roots divide is trifurcation.
It totally depends on you and how you feel about losing a tooth as well as the financial aspects. I do have to say though check around with people you know that have had root canals because many people that I know have always said don't ever get a root canal as they have caused them many problems. Do a little research for both and see which would suit you best.
If you had a Root Canal approx four months ago Can you still have the permanent crown put on?
Absolutely. In general, it's best to have a tooth that's had root canal therapy, especially a posterior (back) tooth, crowned as soon as possible to avoid having it break or fracture. Failing to do this could result in loss of the tooth.
How do you draw infection out of a tooth?
The only way is to have a root canal or have it taken out. Both have to be done at the orthodontists. An infection in the tooth is very serious and should be taken very seriously as it could spread to the nerves of your tooth and cause pain to neighboring teeth etc.
Is it common to have a ringing in the ears for 3 hours after a root canal?
Yes it is. Yes, it might be related to the fact that you have had your mouth open for a long period of time. It should go away after a few days.
Can you lose your taste from a failed root canal?
Not normally as the taste buds are on the upper surface of the tongue, around the soft palate (roof of the mouth), the upper esophagus and also the epiglottis.

What happens if during root canal sinus cavity is punctured?
This just happened to me recently and what happens is that you will feel extreme pain and be in pain for at least a week or more. Tomorrow it will be a week since it happened and I still am in need of pain medication. I am unaware if there will be any long term damage but I do know that you must be on antibiotics because there is a good chance of infection.
