Which term is given to the area at which three roots divide?
The term given to the area at which three roots divide is trifurcation.
It totally depends on you and how you feel about losing a tooth as well as the financial aspects. I do have to say though check around with people you know that have had root canals because many people that I know have always said don't ever get a root canal as they have caused them many problems. Do a little research for both and see which would suit you best.
If you had a Root Canal approx four months ago Can you still have the permanent crown put on?
Absolutely. In general, it's best to have a tooth that's had root canal therapy, especially a posterior (back) tooth, crowned as soon as possible to avoid having it break or fracture. Failing to do this could result in loss of the tooth.
How do you draw infection out of a tooth?
The only way is to have a root canal or have it taken out. Both have to be done at the orthodontists. An infection in the tooth is very serious and should be taken very seriously as it could spread to the nerves of your tooth and cause pain to neighboring teeth etc.
Is it common to have a ringing in the ears for 3 hours after a root canal?
Yes it is. Yes, it might be related to the fact that you have had your mouth open for a long period of time. It should go away after a few days.
Can you lose your taste from a failed root canal?
Not normally as the taste buds are on the upper surface of the tongue, around the soft palate (roof of the mouth), the upper esophagus and also the epiglottis.

What happens if during root canal sinus cavity is punctured?
This just happened to me recently and what happens is that you will feel extreme pain and be in pain for at least a week or more. Tomorrow it will be a week since it happened and I still am in need of pain medication. I am unaware if there will be any long term damage but I do know that you must be on antibiotics because there is a good chance of infection.
you probably had tissue damage, but the dentist is not at fault because you had to sign or be made aware of HIPAA, it should go away but call your dentist and see what he recremends good luck and brush brush brush
My jaw was proped open too long and stretched and shoots... it hurt when I opened wide for youabout six months - it did eventually go away.
Sounds like an abcess... which will get worse as time goes on... if you leave it, the bacteria causing the abcess could cause you very serious problems. I suggest you go and get it looked at asap. Don't delay, your life could depend on it. Also the bacteria can eat away at your jaw bone if you've had it a long time, this can cause massive complications... Let me know how you get on... Try not to worry yourself, but i strongly advise you go get it checked out asap, don't delay... But good luck anyway and I hope I'v helped answer your question! : :o) Another Answer It could also be a pyogenic granuloma. It's not actually a granuloma, but if the bump's on/near the area where there's skin between your teeth, that's might be it. As with the first response, get it checked out.
I have a root canal but want to take out the root canal?
Im not sure of the question but sounds like the doctor already removed the inerts of the tooth and placed a filling into the root. That is what a root canal therapy is. If you want to remove the root canal filling material and replace it with a more biocompatible material there are dentist that do that.
Is it bad that your unfinished root canal is bleeding?

What is involved in Endodontic treatment?
An endodontic treatment is another word for a root canal. A root canal procedure consists of the dentist numbing the infected tooth, then make an opening by drilling the area. The dentist will then clean out all of the decay and most of the time only partially complete the work. Patients will return in a few weeks to have the procedure finished.
The nerve can not regenerate in a tooth, instead what is left of it will eventually die. You would be better off having the root canal treatment completed and if it is a back tooth you NEED a crown on the tooth to prevent breaking the tooth in the future. The tissue inside a tooth cannot be regrown after root canal therapy. But you can keep your tooth all your life if the root canal is well done and well restaured, and if you brush your teeth well.
In the future, they may be able to harvest your own stem cells and implant the cells into your jawbone. This would heal or possibly regrow dead or missing teeth.
How much does a failed root canal job cost?
Call the dentist that did your root canal or any current dentist. When the nerve dies the tooth turns grey. Then the tooth has to be pulled. Depending on where your 'root canal' is, you may need a bridge or implant. This was my experience. Cost would depend on the dentist fee and insurance consideration. Blessings.
Can a new crown tooth that hits against another tooth cause you to need a root canal?
No. But a tooth that needed a crown probably had a lot of decay. Sometimes it's very close to the nerve and doesn't heal itself and ends up needing a root canal. This is by no fault, just the way the tooth reacted.
Your teeth shouldn't be hitting each other in a bothersome fashion. If they are, the bite needs to be adjusted by the dentist polishing down the areas that are too "high." This is a very simple short procedure.
An improper bite can cause pain that might be mistaken for the pain of a nerve dying in a tooth. I don't know if it can cause actual damage.
Is it normal for a root canal to discolor a tooth?
Yes, teeth that have root canals frequently turn dark over time.
Why do I have multiple failed root canals?
Only a dentist can answer this one and I suggest you find a better dentist. Many people don't realize you can have up to 4 diffent canals in a tooth and not the usual two. Some dentists are sloppy and miss this.
A DMD is the same as a DDS - it just depends where you went to school. Since both degrees are dentists...YES, a DMD can do root canals. The specific specialist that does root canals is an endodontist, but general dentists can do them as well.
Trauma to the front teeth will often cause a tooth to die and subsequent discoloration. A root canal is needed to prevent or stop the infection process. To address the color, root canal treatment should help by removing all the dark, dead tissue in your tooth but to get it back to normal, you may need internal bleaching, veneer or a crown. Talk to you dentist about this.
