What would happen if decomposition did not occur?
If decomposition did not occur, dead organic matter would accumulate, leading to a significant disruption in ecosystems. Nutrient cycling would be severely affected, as essential elements like carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus would remain locked in non-living matter, resulting in soil degradation and reduced fertility. This would ultimately threaten plant growth, disrupt food chains, and lead to a decline in biodiversity, as organisms dependent on decomposed materials for sustenance would struggle to survive. Overall, the balance of ecosystems would be severely compromised, impacting all forms of life.
How do you program a 2000 Saab 9-3 remote?
Greetings, you must go to a dealer for programing. Some charge some don't. Good luck.
Yes, Saab did make a 900 SE turbo. Is there a question?
~
Odd looking cars really.
How do you fix the button on the shifter to put it in gear?
IF it's a mid-90's SAAB (mine was a 1995 Saab 900 SE Turbo Convertible, manual transmission), it could be a stretching clutch cable that means you cannot fully disengage the clutch even with the pedal all the way down to the floor, making shifting in and out of reverse and first difficult.
SAAB had a design flaw that year (and maybe a year or two earlier or later): It was a cable operated clutch, but NO way to adjust it as it stretched as it got older.
This was a real problem as you could not remove the ignition key unless you had shifted into reverse. At times the trouble would be bad enough I would have to stop the engine in neutral, THEN shift into reverse with the engine off, in order to remove the ignition key.
Eventually the cable stretched so far it broke. I had the dealer replace it (almost $1000)...and a few years later when the new cable started to stretch, I sold the car before it became a real problem again.
How do you bleed the clutch on a Saab 900?
TAM from FIFE SCOTLAND
I DO NOT CLAIM TO BE AN EXPERT OR A MECHANIC, BUT I DO KNOW A WEE BIT ABOUT SAAB's.
1. OK FIRST YOU NEED TO FIND YOURSELF A SPARE CAP FOR THE RESERVOIR.
2. YOU WILL ALSO NEED A VALVE FROM A WHEEL OR TUBE (even a bicycle one will do).
3. DRILL THE SPARE CAP & FIT THE VALVE TO IT.
4. REMOVE THE GOOD CAP FROM THE RESERVOIR & FILL UP WITH AS MUCH BRAKE FLUID AS IT WILL HOLD.
5. NOW PUT THE CAP WITH THE VALVE ON THE RESERVOIR & CONNECT A HAND PUMP.
6. PUMP IN ABOUT 5psi (if you use an ordinary foot pump, then one stroke is enough)
7. LOCATE & RELEASE THE BLEED SCREW (only about half a turn, just so the fluid comes out)
8. ADD MORE AIR WITH THE PUMP IF REQUIRED, BUT KEEP AN EYE ON THE FLUID LEVEL.
9. WHEN THE LEVEL OF FLUID IN THE RESERVOIR GETS BELOW HALF WAY, LOCK OFF THE BLEED SCREW- THEN REMOVE THE CAP- TOP UP TO THE VERY TOP AGAIN- REPLACE THE CAP WITH THE VALVE ON IT- ADD MORE AIR THEN RELEASE THE BLEED SCREW & PUMP THE FLUID THROUGH THE SYSTEM UNTIL THE FLUID DROPS TO THE MAX LINE ON THE RESERVOIR.
10. LASTLY LOCK OFF THE BLEED SCREW & REPLACE THE PROPER RESERVOIR CAP.
How do you check the transmission fluid level on a 2004 Saab?
The transmission dipstick is located on the front of the transmission and is accessible from underneath the car. It is green in color and held in by a retaining bolt.
How do you remove the bracket to replace a headlight bulb on a Saab 93?
2004 Saab 9-3
Headlamp bulb replacement.
There is a retaining bracket between the old bulb and the plug
The bracket retains the bulb in the headlamp housing.
There are two clips that hold the retaining bracket in place.
Be Careful not to break the clips and release the bulb.
These bulbs are stubborn so be firm.
Replace the bulb and retainer. The twist the assembly on the headlamp housing.
Not the best design I've ever seen so be careful

How do you remove check engine warning light on Saab 93?
As far as I know this is a diagnostic plug in only, my 2002 93 cab throws the light on occasionally especially when on cruise, the boost sensor code comes up when plugged in, the sensor has been replaced and the dump valve (which is a common fault). The running is not effected but it is aggravating. Fortunately for me I have a Saab specialist in Chelmsford who are very helpful and have reset it three times foc. May be worth replacing the small vacumn pipes to the dump valve and boost sensor as these can become weak and brittle over time, other than that I love the car. good luck!
**Remove the check engine light by going in through the left/drivers side speaker and pull the bulb. This is not OBDII so it is not needed for inspections.
What is the engine oil capacity of a Saab 9-3?
The engine oil capacity of a Saab 9-3 is 5 quarts. This includes a small amount of oil stored in the oil filter during replacement.
The Saab automobile is manufactured in which country?
Saab currently produce the 9-3 and 9-5 at their trollhaten plant in Sweden and Saabs new 9-4X will be produced in Mexico. In the past the 900/9-3 convertables have been made in Finland and Austria.

Where is throttle position sensor on 1992 Saab 9000 turbo?
The throttle position sensor is located on the throttle housing on the left-hand end of the inlet manifold.
How do you change the cabin air filter on a 2000 Saab 9-3 Convertible?
I've replaced mine on my 1999 Saab 9-3 SE 5 door hatchback. I think the procedure is the same for the convertible. This is about a 20 to 30 minute project and requires no special tools.
1) Remove both windshield wiper arms by 1st removing the black plastic caps and then removing the nut below. You may have to wiggle the arms a bit to get them to free up from the splines. I think you have to open the hood to be able to access the nut on the driver side wiper arm.
2) With the hood open, remove the weather stripping that runs parallel to the windshield.
3) Remove the black plastic cover that covers the wiper motor and cabin filter.
4) Remove the old cabin filter and install a new one.
5) Replace the block cover, weather stripping, and reinstall the wiper arms.
General Motors acquired 51% of Saab in 1990. GM bought the rest of Saab in 2000. Under the direction of the Obama administration & the new CEO of GM that he appointed, GM closed down Pontiac, Saturn and Saab. It resulted in the loss of three excellent product lines, and many lost jobs. Saab was eventually sold to a small Dutch company: Spyker, in early 2010 for a reported 500 million dollars.
If its the side blinkers on the fender just grab the light casing push in alittle and at the same time slide while pushing the light casing towards the front of the car then just pull out away from car the light is at the back of that turn the bulb counter clockwise a quarter turn and bulb pops out replace and do all that backwards to install ... Good luck
Why is it that a 1999 Saab 9-5 with a charged battery won't start?
This is going to be either Expensive or Outrageous, if your problem is actually that it won't crank.
Your first task is to test the starter. Put your car in neutral, set the handbrake and chock the wheels before you do this! It looks like a big can mounted horizontally. There's a little horizontally mounted can right above it - like, a quarter inch above the big can. The little can has three wires coming out of it. One goes to the battery. One is real thin and goes off toward the passenger compartment, and the third goes into the big can. We'll call them the battery wire, the key wire and the starter wire. Get a hunk of 8-gauge wire and strip the ends, then short the battery and starter wires together. If the starter ran, short the battery and key wires. If the engine cranked, the starter's good. If it failed either test, you have the answer: unhook the battery, extract the starter from your car, take it and $108 plus tax to AutoZone, get a new one, put it in and be happy.
If the starter works, pull off the key wire and connect a voltmeter between it and ground. Turn the key to the start position and look for 12 volts, and if you see it keep reading. Here's an old VW driver trick: this wire picks up a ton of resistance from running past hot parts for years and years. What I want you to do, is to turn the key to the "run" position and try shorting the battery wire on the starter to the prong your key wire was on. The engine SHOULD start. If it does, you have two options. The first is kind of a pain: you gotta run a new wire. The lazy way that all the VW drivers use, is to buy a 30-amp foglight relay. It has four prongs: two for the coil, two for the switch. Hook the key wire to one of the coil prongs and ground the other. Connect the switch between the battery wire and the key wire prong on the starter. Then screw the relay to the side of the engine compartment. Relays take very little power to switch on, so this works great.
If you're getting no voltage you either have a broken wire, one that fell off, or you need a new ignition switch. This is also a $100 part.
