You don't necessarily need to have a phone number, you just contact your manager and tell him when you want to take vacation. He'll let you know if there is a time open during the time you request and try to get it covered. Most Managers for safeway pass around a sheet at the beginning of each year for you to put your vacation requests in early to better assure you'll get the time requested.

Most supermarkets tend to have their croissants in the bakery section, but others like Asda, Waitrose and Sainsburys have there's in the freshly baked section which is two lanes to the left of the bakery of fresh baked sections. If you want to find a sugar or chocolate croissants they are usually placed in the cake ingredients or decorations section. I may be wrong but there could be croissants in the co-operative around the front in a blue and white checkered cardboard holder. They come in packets of five or 3.
