Where do salts in the soil come from?
- pollution from industrial wastes
- evaporation of water from irrigation systems
How would you separate sodium chloride from water?
Because barium sulfate is is insoluble in water the separation is possible by filtration.
How do you counter act to much salt?
I've done this myself, and the easiest way is to avoid processed, canned, and frozen food, and stick to fresh vegetables and meat you cook yourself. TV dinners, canned goods, snack foods, etc. all contain incredible amounts of salt in them. Even the "low salt" versions still contain an enormous amount of salt in them. Look at the back of the labels for the sodium content and you will see how quickly you can reach your recommended daily salt intake. I also like to use a small amount of sea salt on a few dishes I really like it on, because the sea salt is tastier and seems to go farther in small amounts than regular salt.
The best part is, if you cut out the processed, canned and frozen food, and eat mostly fresh, your tolerance for salt will go way down naturally, and pretty quickly too, and if you grab a bag of cheese puffs for example, and taste them, they will seem incredibly salty to you, unbearably, intolerably salty. And you won't want to eat them. That's when you'll know you've really succeeded at cutting down your salt intake.
What is the molecular form Na Cl2?
Sodium chloride form very large lattices; see the link below for a figure.
How much salt is in the world?
The Earth is composed of over 70 percent water. It is estimated that there are over 50 quadrillion tons of salt in the worldâ??s oceans.
Can water and sodium chloride bond?
No. Sodium chloride in water dissolves into its individual Na+ ions and Cl- ions due to the polarity of the water molecule. This is not a bonding between water and sodium chloride. In fact there is no chemical reaction at all taking place. The dissolving of the sodium and chloride ions by water is a physical change, and can be reversed by letting the water evaporate.
What is formed when glucose react with sodium chloride?
The chemical formula of sodium chloride is NaCl.
The chemical formula of glucose is C6H12O6.
Your question is not so clear; but:
- liquid water - (H2O)l
- water vapour- (H2O)g
- sodium chloride as a solid - (NaCl)s
What is sodium chloride commonly used in?
Some important applications of sodium chloride
- seasoning for foods
- preservative for foods
- preparation of sodium, chlorine, sodium hydroxide, hydrogen
- roads deicing
- soaps fabrication
- salts baths
- isotonic solutions - sodium is indispensable for life
etc.

Where can you get Epson Salts?
Epson salts are reffered frequently in Cayce readings as a relief for various diseases, such as arthritis. If you enter the site of "Edgar Cayce Health and Rejuvenation Center" you will find the remedies and treatments in which Epson salts are used and of cource the specific procedures
Can glucose and NaCl conduct electricity?
Yes NaCl can conduct the electricity........but i am not sure about Glucose

What are two elements that sodium chloride contain?
Sodium chloride (NaCl) contain sodium and chlorine.
Is NaCl an insulator or conductor?
Hi,
Salt itself is an insulator of electricity.
The conductivity of any solution depends on the movement of ions.
Ions are the charged species of the atom.
In salt the movement of these ions are not possible. Thus, it is a bad conductor.
Hope this helps.
What are good alternatives to salt?
The classic example is a mixture of sodium chloride with potassium chloride; simple KCl has a bad taste.
What is the correction for AgNo3 plus NaCl yields NaCl plus Ag No3?
The reaction is:
AgNO3 + NaCl = AgCl + NaNO3
Silver chloride is a white precipitate.
A solution of sodium chloride is called salted water or brine.
How are sodium and chloride classified?
Common salt is an ionic compound of sodium and chlorine. The cubic structure fills the spaces between the larger chlorine ions with the smaller sodium ions.
Well there's no list so it could be classified as salt or an ionic compound.
