How can you comunicate with ghost?

If you suspect a place is haunted, you could call a phsychic medium to come and see if there are any spirits that stay in the area, or you could take an EVP recording, which is where you can detect any speech the ghost may be saying..only we cannot hear

The question should be how do we improve in seeing and talking to the spirit world. Why can a digital recorder hear evp's and our ears can't? why not rig a digital recorder into an ear plug for instant responses. as for photographs and video why can't we enhance the equipment to display ghosts on the view finder? I'm assuming our technology can make a camera that sees in all spectrums of light and energy. And how come no ghost hunter shows ask the important questions... like what is it like over there? do you need to sleep or eat (gather energy to move things) does it hurt to move things? can you interact with other ghosts? is it crowded there? can you or do you hang out with friends and relatives? can you move on? is there a heaven or better place? does everyone turn into a ghost? can you fly into the heavens? are you stuck in this place or can you move freely? what happened when you died? did you see yourself outside your body? can you be hurt anymore? why do ghosts wear clothes? how do ghosts wear clothes? can you change your clothes or are you stuck with the ones your die in? has any higher power explained to you why you are there and why you can't move on? or is it one unexplainable boring existence?

Who made the colour tv?

The very first attempts at creating color television picture started immediately after the creation of first mechanical black and white televisions in 1880s. While French inventor Maurice Le Blanc proposed creation of mechanical color television, it was Polish inventor Jan Szczepanik patented a color television system in 1897, managing to achieve color reproduction by using selenium photoelectric cell, electromagnet, prism and oscillating mirror. Sadly for Szczepanik, this system did not work well and this invention remained unsuccessful.

Successful prototype of mechanical television system came from Scottish inventor John Logie Baird, who after managing to create black and white television set from common materials (bicycle lamps, cardboard, biscuit tin, string and daring needles) tackled the problem of colors. His solution involved use 3 light sources and 3 spiraling discs that combined their rays of primary light to create visible color image. He demonstrated his invention on July 3, 1928, drawing amazement from the crowd that gathered in droves to see the 30 minute broadcasting of music and traditional Irish stories, and even first ever television commercial for Daily Mail in the UK.

What is the simplest way to hook up an old TV to a VCR and a satellite?

Hello there, To hook up the TV and VCR: 1: take aerial cable (the aerial), plug that into the VCR label aerial (back of VCR; what ever the name is as long as it mentions aerial) 2: take the TV cable (no, not the POWER cable but similar to that of the aerial cable but has male/female ends, connect one end to the VCR (RF out) and the other to the TV (if doesn't fit reverse cable; REMEBER, DO NOT FORCE ANYTHING OR IT WILL LEAD TO DAMAGE OF DEVICES) If you have RCA cables at the back of the TV, do the following, 1: take a three plug cable (RCA; Red & White (Letf & right speackers; stereo) & Yellow (picture), plug the red & white RCA into the corresponding colors on the TV INPUT section (RECEIVING sound and pic from VCR to TV = INput) 2: repeat above but this is for the VCR and connect into the OUTPUT section (SENDING sound and pic from VCR to TV = OUTput) Check: 1: Pick a channel that you want to designate as an AV; Audio/Video (VCR channel to watch videos & Record) channel and place in a tape and play it (let it contiune playing until step two is completed) 2: on the TV continue tuning until you receive the playing video, then you're done. You'll got through a series of frequencies ie VHF, UHF, etc. before you'll get to the video pic. Be patient if you have to manually tune. 2.1: if you have auto tune use it and continue until you have the video image from the playing video. As for the satellite, 1: you must have the decoder box in order to receive satellite signals 2: connect the cable from the satellite dish (srew type & designed) to the input of the decoder 3: take the cable as mentioned above (TV/VCR; standard) or special cable (srew type & designed) and connect the srew end to the box and the other end to the TV (standard where applicable). 4: the TV must have a double adapter for both box cable and VCR (viewing video); buy one at your nearest electronic store. Ask for a double adaptor for the aerial of the TV. Connect box cable to TV, another cable to TV to VCR (RF out) PS. It is possible that the decoder may have only one output (to prevent recording) therefore you may need an additional aerial for local channels only. I hope this has helped... :) PS. If in doubt, use the VCR manual (pics) to assist you in my description

What are the universal remote control and codes for Scientific Atlanta PowerVu Satellite receiver D9835?

I have the same box and tv, if your remote is the same "model AT8560" there is not a code listed for Vizio, but you can do a code scan and it will program. Make sure the tv is turned on, and to enter code scan hold down the 'TV' and 'Select/OK' buttons until all the buttons on top start flashing. Then enter '991' into the keypad. The 'TV' light should flash. Then press the 'play' button and get ready to press 'Select/OK' when the tv shuts off. The 'TV' light should be flashing while it trys each code one at a time. Once the tv shuts off press 'Select/OK' once and test to see if it works by pressing the power/volume buttons. If it works press 'Select/OK' one more time to store the code.

How can you get HDTV over the air broadcast on a HDTV monitor with a standard TV antenna?

Yes, you can use the old antenna. However, some new antennas are specially designed to better capture digital TV signals. And the direction, angle, distance, and type of digital signals in your area could influence your choice of antenna. HDTV is a picture format, not a signal format. Most likely a TV with an HDTV picture format already has a digital tuner (ATSC) rather than only an analog tuner (NTSC). However, if it is just a monitor, then you may have to attach a tuner to it, or attach a tuner to your computer, and the computer to the monitor.

Actually, there is no such thing as an "HDTV" tuner. There are analog and digital tuners. All HDTV is digital, but not all digital is going to be HDTV. In Feb 2009 the U.S. Government has mandated that all broadcasters will cease transmitting in analog format and begin transmitting their signals over the air in digital format only. This signal requires an ATSC type tuner (digital) to demodulate the digital signal and display it on your television screen. All TVs manufactured for use in the U.S. from 1 Jan 2006 must have an ATSC tuner. Older TVs with the older style NTSC tuner (analog) will require a converter box to demodulate the digital signals.

How does an antenna pick up tv signals?

The short answer is , metal antenna elements are tuned by length and diameter to resonate at a electro magnetic frequencies of the tv channels. The vibrating electrons vibrate each other , even over long distance. Some every day examples of this are , electric guitar , the electrons in a vibrating metal string vibrate the electrons in the electro magnet under the metal string, and this vibrating electron energy is connected to a amplifier.

A simpler example is a 'toaster' , the vibrating 'electrons/electric' flowing through the wires in the toaster make the electrons in the wires vibrate very fast and with a lot of energy and this is high rate of friction between the electrons makes heat. Friction makes Heat and light , light is vibrating electrons vibrating at a rate/frequency that you can see with your eyes The same thing in a light bulb.

The resistance of tungsten wire to the to the vibrating electrons causes more friction and this makes heat and light.

Electricity , is in fact vibrating electrons.

The different rates of vibration convey different information. Type of information are in fact , heat or light. Radio or Television or Etc,.

What is the function of satellite communication?

The satellite is used to receive foreign broadcast from other network stations and send it home users

Answer

Satellite communication is a process where a radio signal is transmitted to a satellite above your horizon. That satellite rebroadcasts that signal, on a different frequency, either to a ground station, or to another satellite to be relayed further. It allows communications without any local infrastructure, such as wires, towers, or other equipment. All that is needed is a receiver/transmitter which operates in the correct frequency bands, and which has sufficient power and sensitivity to communicate with a satellite, and the satellites.

Satellite communication allowed the boats in the Volvo Round the World Ocean sailboat race to communicate with the race headquarters, irregardless of where in the world the boats were.

What is better cable or dish television?

That depends on the plan you get. For basic cable the cost is about 35/month, but then there are incentives and discounts to lower that cost. Dish network starts off at about 30/month, and then the prices go up based on what channels you choose, so in that sense Dish can be more cost effective. However most cable companies offer package bundles with phone and internet service and if you take one of those bundles, cable service works out to be more cost effective.

How to turn on Closed Caption?

Either your TV has the closed captioning feature, or it doesn't. Most TVs do. The option can be found under the menu on your TV, usually easily accessed using the remote. If it isn't under the menu, check the remote for a captions button. If it's not in either of these places, your TV probably does not support this feature. Good luck!
