What is the best beginner skateboard?

The best beginner board? hmmm that is a tough one lol, well it kinda depends on your budget, but i would say, like a "atm" is a really tough and cheap board i have had mine for a few years now, but don't get like a "element" to start out with because it is only going to get trashed and that sucks especially if you don't have much cash so i would say a "atm" or a cheaper brand you know like one know one really hears about like darkstar and stuff like that but don't get a walmart board because it is just a waste of money

Is Seattle a good place to live?

i dont know but from what i read so far its a beauty and it rains and snows and it has summer sunshine. im planning to move there also cause it soo green and fresh in trees and grass.good luck if ur trying to move there cause i know i will move there ;)

**Yes Seattle is beautiful and green, but the reason Seattle appears so "green" is because it rains, then it rains again, then it is overcast, then it rains some more. (annual average about 37" of rain) I couldn't take the rain and gloom after 4 years. Summers are hot but humid, I found it unbearable...be sure to get a place with a/c if you move there. On the plus side, lots to do there, great sports arena, lots of bands coming through, good art community, theater, symphony, museums, great restaurants--lots of activities in general. The job market is also suppose to be good there. I didn't find the people especially open or friendly. Think "Eddie Bauer, Starbucks, yuppies and jocks"..if that's you..go for it! (and take your umbrella!)

Cheapest way to get from Seattle WA to Vancouver Island BC?

Probably the best way to get to Vancouver Island from Seattle is to drive up there and take the ferry across to Vancouver Island. If you do drive, that is an excellent alternative. However if you aren't a driver there is a train that can take you there instead and you can get on a ferry and take it over. I know that the Victoria Clipper makes runs to Victoria BC then you can take the ferry over to the island as well. But that can be a bit pricey especially during peak times.
