Seroquel

i am not a trained/certified physician. however, i asked my psychiatric nurse practitioner this same question yesterday, and she said it would be fine. she has other patients that are on both.

i proposed the question, as i really like abilify (mood-wise), but it keeps me awake for days, and makes me feel really agitated physically, where as seroquel helps me sleep. I took the two together for a couple months or so but I had to quit taking the Abilify as I lost the ability to make simple conversation. I couldn't talk to loved ones or friends. I sat there basically brain-dead. I stopped taking the Abilify but kept taking the Seroquel and the brain inactivity was no longer a problem. Also to this day I can't control facial tics and I have not taken Abilify for almost two years. I was never warned that this would happen or become permanent.

Seroquel has a half-life of 6 hours, meaning that every six hours, half of the original amount of Serouel remains in your system. it stays in your system about 2 days it depends on the test they give you..lab test standard urine stick test..but chances are if your getting drug tested and you have no prescription...dont TAKE IT!

3 days for a more intesive urine test basic test it wont generaly show up (i use to be a pill head on felony probation ) 3 days it wont show up at all if its a basic test though

It depends on how much you do. Me and my friends were all on Klonopin (4 each), yola, and Seroquel (1 or 2) and we killed a 24 pack of Corona and only one of my boys ended up pukin his brains out and that's only cus he killed five beers in like two hours. You just got to know you're limits and DRINK SLOW, cus alcohol intensifies those drugs already. And don't go super crazy on the pills.

if you take a differt types of antibiotica when don t you need, yhis antibiotics that you have used previously will be less effective again bacteria if you will take the same antibiotic in the future.

I asked myself that same question, came to the conclusion that yes you can, but if you screw it up, it is an anti psycotic, someone will change your diapers for life.... not worth it in the end. Taken that you are on seroquel like me........ there is a reason, I'm bipolar, suicidal thoughts are with me everyday. Either you make it or you don't, one day at a time baby, when it gets too rough minute by minute... that is how i cope.

Depends who wants to buy it. Some people will buy them to use them for a good sleep after a bunch of cocaine.. Some people will buy them to knock themselves out for a plane ride or a bus ride. At high doses 600 mgs or more they give off mild mdma like effects, if you dont get knocked on your backside. The pills themselves are almost worth 5$ each at the pharm.. So I would say they'd be worth about $5 or $10 on the street.

Currently I am taking 400mg Seroquel XR and 500mg Depacote ER 2x a day, no problems, so I would say yes.

no no no no, seroquel is an atypical-anti-psychotic med used for manic depression, schizophrenia, manic episodes. that kinda thanng, tho it will make u sleep n drunkish feeling, 25-50mgs:D be safe

Listen. Whatever you do, even if prescribed it, DON'T TAKE SEROQUEL! I took some from a friend yesterday, and I had to be sent home, and I think she might be getting arrested. I slept for 20 hours straight, and I'm STILL not able to react fast enough to things, my head still feels heavy, and my tongue is NUMB. Someone told me that you're supposed to start off at 50 mg, and the one pill that I took was 300 mg. Please, don't do it.

First, stay away from drug company sites. They don't seem to be very honest about side effects, their severity or how long they last. Secondly, your doctor may TRY to help but he or she only knows what the drug companies are claiming. Do a Google search and find an online med withdrawal support group. Drugs.com has some great resources and groups. I've heard of side effects lasting as much as a year. But then I've spoken to people who have had NO side effects (or withdrawals) at all. ~ T

i have found that the side effects of serouel (drowsiness restless feet etc...) last between 6 to 9 hours. however the antipsyhcotic effect seems to last right through the next day if you are taking your dose at night with your main meal side effects seem to hang on a little longer for some reason and may have trouble waking up next morning so i have tended to take my seroquel about an hour before my main meal and sleep right through the side effedcts.

It will test positive for benzodiazepines, as it is chemically related.

it causes you to eat but not normal,it causes the body to crave minerals and instead of eating healthy your body decides to eat horrible foods like sweets,ever hurd of a choclate rush or a sugar rush? well that's what your brain and stomach are doing is having rushes for food that you cant control seroquel is not good for someone over weight if you are having these symptoms you need to talk to your doctor.

It also slows down your metabolism and decreases your thyroid hormones, drastically. The weight gain is hard and fast, within the first 12 weeks (3 months) of starting treatment.

I gained 80lbs in three months from being on seroquel, lexapro and tegretol. All the exercise in the world and dieting didn't help it. The only thing that is helping is reducing the amount of those drugs in my system.

Yes, it can come up as a TCA (Tricyclic Antidepressant). Not illegal, but something that someone may as you about because they are not commonly prescribed anymore. There is also evidendce that it can make you test falsely for Methadone.

regular seroquel is about an hour and seroquel xr takes about 4hrs

Marijuana 24 hrs to 30 days, THC is stored in the fat cells so the fatter you are the longer it stay in. Pregnant women could smoke a joint and it could stay in the system 6 months.

Alcohol is less than 24 hours but new test can detect alcohol use up to 7 days out. The test for enzimes rather than alcohol.

yes my doctor has me on 500mg twice a day and 400mg of seroquel once a day

Yes, you can depending upon what your dosage of Seroquel is. Withdrawing from Seroquel caused me to experience severe chest pain and high blood pressure the first few days after each dosage cut. After I had the chest pain thoroghly checked out to make sure there was nothing seriously wrong, my Dr. gave me a prescription for low dose tramadol to take those first few days at each lower seroqel dose so that I could function. You should talk to your physician though--the CNS depressive side effects of Seroquel and Tramadol are additive.....so I imagine you might not be able to take it if you are on a lot of Seroquel.

Taking Elavil and Seroquel together does increase the risk of heart rhythm irregularities. This is a rare side effect, but you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to make sure that this combination of drugs is right for you.

The drug Seroquel was approved to be sold to the public by the FDA in September of 1997. The drug was developed between the years 1992 and 1996.

Half an hour to 2 hours depending, but that's just from my experience with it.
