Are the Seventh-day Adventist hospitals connected to the Mormon church?

No. The Seventh-day Adventist Church operates about 60 hospitals in the United States and hundreds outside the US. Many of these have the name 'Adventist' in their title.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) does not own or operate any hospitals. They used to own LDS Hospital and Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, but sold these institutions to Intermountain Healthcare in 1975.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Mormon Church are not connected in any way.

Is Seventh-day Adventism a false religion?

It all depends on perspective. To Adventists, Catholicism is a false system of worship, but so are many other religions exclusive of Adventism. These other religions would consider Adventism to be false as well. Obviously Baptists would consider Vishnu a false god and atheists believe all religions are false. So you could expand your question to inquire whether Adventism is false compared to what standard.

AnswerSeventh day Adventists are part of the worldwide Christian Church. Within their 28 'fundamental beliefs' all but one are identical with the Roman catholic, Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Reformed, Orthodox and other Christian Churches across the world. Therefore to call them 'false' is as silly as calling someone a misfit because he or she happens to be wearing one different item of clothing from you.

The only minor differences between Adventists and the rest of the Christian church is that they have certain beliefs about the end of the world that are based on a literal interpretation of Revelation 20: 1-6 rather than accepting Revelation (as most Biblcal scholars do) as apocalyptic, symbolic and allegorical. They also prefer to revert to the Biblical Sabbath (Saturday) as their 'holy day' rather than meet on Sundays as did the early Church.

However, to call them 'false' because of these very minor differences in tradition is a little harsh. There are many fringe groups that call themselves Christian that actually deny the divinity of Christ and the Trinity, and these deserve the accolade of being 'false far more than the Adventists, who are regarded, by the vast majority of Christians, to be an evangelical mainstream Church and part of the worldwide Christian Body of Christ.

Answer

One of their founders, Ellen White claimed divine authority for her prophecies and was obviously wrong when she prophesied she would be alive when Christ returned. This is known as being a false prophet in most circles. Not a good thing for a founder to be. There are Adventists who are orthodox and share belief in the essentials of Christian faith. There are liberal Adventists who compromise such essentials as the virgin birth, the bodily resurrection and the infallibility of Scripture. Then there are the traditionalists who believe in such things as soul sleep and Sabbatariansism. Adventists believe Satan plays a vital role in your salvation. They also believe Jesus did not finish his work on the cross. Based on these facts, I would not disagree with calling the Adventists a false religion.

Can a couple get married in a church if one is from the Church of Christ and the other is from the Seventh-day Adventist Church?

== == If the church is only a setting for the wedding, almost anyone may be married in a church, generally speaking. Regarding the person who officiates, I don't know the rules in the Church of Christ, but an Adventist pastor would not be willing to perform a marriage between an Adventist and someone of another faith: in the Bible, it says to not be "unequally yoked," which for Adventists means that you shouldn't marry someone who has different beliefs.

A Seventh-day Adventist pastor has to be ordained in order to be able to perform marriages. The position of the church is to marry a non-Adventist couple or an Adventist couple. Marring a non-Adventist with an Adventist is what the rule of the church does not allow. But there is the other option, civil marriage in court.

Do you have to believe in Ellen White in order to be an Adventist?

Excellent question!

Ellen White herself was against belief in her gift being a requirement for membership, so no, you do not have to believe in Ellen White to be a Seventh-day Adventist.

On the other hand, most Adventists do believe in Ellen White. And whether you believe she was a prophet or not, her writings are good, uplifting reading, particularly her best known works: The Desire of Ages, Steps to Christ, and The Great Controversy.

Is the seventh wave always the largest?

The idea that the seventh wave is the largest is a common myth, particularly in surfing culture. While it can sometimes appear that way due to the natural patterns of wave formation, there is no scientific basis for the claim that the seventh wave is consistently the largest. Wave size is influenced by various factors, including wind conditions, tide, and the underwater topography, making it unpredictable. Each set of waves can vary greatly, so it's not accurate to generalize that the seventh wave will always be the biggest.

Doctrine on annihilation by 7th day adventist?

There is no evidence to support that the SDA will be annihilated.

However Daniel 7:25

This has already begun.

Where the dragon will make war with the saints to overcome them. Producing mandatory laws and doctrines to follow or be killed. Then shall the introduction of the Mark of the Beast come.

Ultimately, White believed that God is a loving and compassionate God who understands our struggles and is ready to provide comfort and healing.
