Do they sell Harry Potter puppet pal puppets?

No. Unless you can ask the owner, he might say no because he needs them for his ppp show. The owner is Neil Cicierega. He and his sister, Emmy made the Potter Puppet Pals themselves. They're probably the only ones in the world and somehow, I don't think he would be willing to sell them.

Weft and warp?

Weft and warp are terms for the threads used in weaving. The weft are the crosswise threads on a loom over and under which other threads are passed to make cloth. The warp are the threads that are passed over and under the weft. The warp and weft are the basic constituents of all textiles.

How do you protect the sewing tools?

You can make your tools last longer by doing the following:
  • Keep your tools stored in some sort of container, such as a toolbox or tupperware container. A multi-drawer tool container will keep everything separated and tidy. This will also keep them safe from getting lost or damaged.
  • Scissors: Keep them sharpened (which you can do yourself, or have a professional do), don't use them for anything but fabric, and keep them stored properly in a case. Use a different pair of scissors for cutting anything that's NOT fabric.
  • Pins: Keep them in a pin cushion or on a magnetic box. This will prevent bending and blunting.
  • Roll up your measuring tape when you're not using it to keep it from getting tangled.

You can make your sewing equipment last longer by doing the following:
  • Sewing machine: Clean your machine after every project. Dust it, use the canned air spray (the kind used for keyboards), and wipe it down after you finish a project. Keep the cover on it when not in use, and store it in a cool, dry area.
  • Sewing machine: Get regular professional tune-ups. This will keep the motor running well. Similar to a car.
  • Iron: Keep it stored in a cool, dry place where it can't fall or get knocked into. Keep the cover on it.

How much does it cost for an industrial sewing machine?

Each company has a wide range of prices, depending on what features you want. I suggest you will find they range from $500 and up, but there won't be much choice in the lower range.

Your best bet would be to visit your local supplier and see which choice would be best for your needs.

What is a Kenmore model 148.12070?

The lower bobbin threading is the same as most conventional sewing machines. just type "threading a bobbin" into YouTube and you'll get directions on that. The mechanics behind the 158.12271 are exactly the same, but instead of the bobbin holder facing towards to sewer, it is facing to the left of the sewer. This setup is extremely cumbersome, but if your model (which should also be series/serial number 0006784) comes attached to a desk, then you can lift the sewing machine up for better access. The tension for the upper part of the machine is extremely important! If the string is not laced properly, then the string with jam the machine.

This is how you lace/thread the upper portion of your machine. On the left of the top of the machine there will be a prong. It looks like a mishapened spring. Thread the string through the center of the prong. In front of the prong is a hook-like prong, thread through so that the string is now facing downward. Underneath this hook (on the left of the side facing you) is another hook, thread through accordingly. This is the important part!! There is a dial underneath the hook, thread the string clock-wise between the washers. This device controls the tension of the upper string. Now thread the string through the hole on the thread take-up. Pull the string down and through the hook underneath the tread take up. Then through the spring/prong closest to the needle. Then finally thread the needle.

Once both the upper and lower portions of the machine are threaded, thread the bobbin string by turning the crank towards you. This will cross the upper and lower strings; then pull on the upper string to lace the bobbin thread up through the throat plate.

After that, there isn't much left either then maintenance.

If you look at the bobbin holder, you'll notice two tabs keeping the holder in place. Pull those back, then take the threading piece, (it looks like a crescent moon) lube it up with any machine oil (I use Singer machine oil, but it really doesn't matter). Finally reassemble the bobbin holder.

Some helpful tips:

You can adjust the upper string tension using the dial.

The silver switch labeled "U" stops the feeders.

There are two cranks on the right side of the machine, one on top of the other. The large one activates the machine. The small one loosens/tightens the grip on the roller belt.

There's another larger dial on the right of the side facing you it has 6 settings. 0-5. 0 is the setting for stright line sewing. 1-5 is for zig-zag stiching.

Finally there is a tab. This is used to control the length of the string, and the direction of the sewing.

Thanks for reading! I hope your experience with this horrible machine is better than mine.

What Equipment needed to do applique?

What is a weft knitted fabric?

Warp yarns are threaded on the loom and form the long-ways fibers. Weft yarns are woven in and out of the warp yarns side-to-side during the weaving process. The weft yarns tend to be the fluffier, larger, or more decorative yarns in the project, but this isn't always true.

It probably will do, just try it. You never know unless you try.

Answer two.

The King duvet is about 15 Inches longer and about four inches wider than the Queen, so you might have to fold over at the top, but I am sure it will work for you. You could also remove the excess inches.

What is a double stitched seam?

....

This question is open to interpretation.

Knits and spandex sportwear/swimwear is finished on a serger or overlock machine.

Two neat stitch lines appear on the 'right' side of the garment. When you reverse the fabric you see that these stitch lines are connected (overlocked).

Double stitched may refer to two rows of stitching you typically see on Denim jeans. This is a flat felled seam- no loose ends or seams to overcast to prevent the denim from unravelling.

A double stitched seam may be straight stitching on a seam and then stitching another row alongside it.

Why does thread keep breaking when sewing?

AnswerThere is one fact that gets overlooked often. Make certain that your bobbins are the exact ones recommended for your machine. Many look similiar, but if they are off even slightly in depth, they will not work. Also, make certain your bobbin in locked into position in it's case and the thread is coming from the bobbin in the correct direction. When holding my metal bobbin in my hand, the thread pulls counter clockwise before placing it into my front loading bobbin case. Each machine is different so check your manual.

You can also check that your presser plate is in correctly and without burrs. Good luck and I hope this works.

Additional InfoThere are several reasons why this would happen. In order of probability:

- You are not holding the thread tails when starting a seam - The needle is not properly installed in the needlebar - The machine is not threaded properly - The machine needs adjustment or repair

--Check that your needle is not installed backwards. On my Singer the full-length groove (not the short partial groove) has to face you.

---Check needle is not bent.

---Check to make certain that the bobbin you are using is the correct one for your machine and that it is set in the case correctly.
