How do you teach your husky to talk?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

If you mean " how do you make dogs talk in movies " then the answer is pretty straightforward

a) Film the dog looking in the direction you require so the dog is looking at whoever it is supposed to be talking to. The dog will probably be panting under the movie lights so bring in lots of AC if you can.

b) Load the filmed shot into a computer's 3D program like 3D studio max or maya. Build a 3d model of the dog's snout, complete with teeth and tongue

c) Line up the 3D model with the snout in the shot. A program like Boujou or PF Tracker will help automate this process and will save you a tone of time.

d) Animate 3D snout moving in sync with the dialogue.

e) Composite the rendered 3D snout over the original dog's snout in the shot on your computer. Use a program like After Effects or Fusion.

I may have glossed over a few details, but basically that's it. If you already know the software it should take you between 3 and 8 days to do a reasonable job per shot, depending on the complexities of the original shot.

or...you could just stick a ton of peanut butter o the roof of the dogs mouth...just as long as the dog/puppy is old enough(in case they might not choke). It works

Why does your Siberian husky bark so much?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Dogs bark for different reasons, and there are different sounds for each reason. A single high-pitched bark usually means the dog wants your attention (or another dog's attention). This could be because he has to go outside, wants to eat, wants to play, etc. But every dog is different, so just learn to pay attention to the different sounds your dog makes to try to figure out what he is trying to communicate.

Can your husky be part wolf?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Yes, it is possible. But a very unlikely chance. Huskies are a lot like wolves but they are domesticated dogs. They come from the same family though. If you want to know for sure here are some signs it may be part wolf:

Your dog kills mice, squirrels, small animals, etc.

Your dog acts like the alpha of other dogs. (leader)

Your dog is very protective.

Your dog howls a lot especially at the moon.

Your dog rarely barks.

Your dog has colorings like a wolf.

When your dog eats it guards itself and growls when other dogs come near.

When your dog overate it rolls around on its belly.

Your dog cares for puppies no matter whenever they are hers/his or not.

Even if your dog does some of these it still doesn't mean it is part wolf. But you can always do a DNA test.

Do siberian huskies live in a den?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Siberian Huskies can spend time indoors, however, they need a significant amount of exercise every day, and thus it is not good to keep them in an apartment. They should spend most or a lot of their time in a yard, unless it is hot (they do not tolerate heat well). However, they are perfectly fine outside even on a very cold day.

How does a husky change its environment?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

A thick, double-layered oily coat, and a layer of fat gives second protection. The fat gets heated up quickly and therefore insulates everything in between the fur, which blocks body heat escape, and the dog. The oil on the fur also prevents snow and ice seeping in.

What is the coldest temperature that a Siberian husky can survive in?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

---Actually, it all depends on the breed. An Alaskan Malamute can live in Alaska with no problem because of their body build. Now a chihuahua can't live in those types of weather conditions because of their body structure, no body fat and layers upon layers of fur.

When is a Siberian husky an adult dog?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The breed standard for Siberian Huskies says male dogs should stand 21-23½ inches, and females should be 20-22 inches in height. Males should weigh 45-60 pounds, and females weigh 35-50 pounds.

That said, there are plenty of "non-breed-standard" dogs out there who are either larger or smaller.

It depends, on if the mom and dad were big or small. It's not how the breed is, its how its genes are, that's like saying humans are normally 6 feet tall!
