One of the coolest skateboarding tricks is the kickflip, where the skateboard rotates 360 degrees along its axis while flipping beneath the skater's feet. It requires a combination of skill, timing, and precision to perform successfully.

It is subjective to determine the "hottest" skateboarders as attractiveness is based on personal preference. However, some popular and well-known skateboarders include Nyjah Huston, Leticia Bufoni, Lizzie Armanto, Sean Malto, and Ishod Wair.

The best deck brands are Chocolate, Cliche, Plan B or Zero. They both have great quality, concave, and lightweight. Not to mention the fact that they also have great designs. I personally recommend Zero though, but their both pretty close. If you are a beginner, I recommend Enjoi, Habitat, and NEVER element.

I found that thin oils work best. WD-40, 3-in-1, etc... I used a combination of cleaning with lighter fluid (ask mom and dad) then soaking in WD-40 overnight had my wheels spinning more freely. I made up my own combo that's had the same GMN bearings spinning fast for over 18years.

Don't use WD 40. It attracts dust and dirt, which are bad for the bearings.

Any lubricant will attrace dust and dirt. WD-40 is ideal for cleanning purposes. It will loosen dirt and debris prior to lube. Understand that a base component of WD-40 is fish oil, so it will break down if used alone..

Surf wax makes your board or whatever sticky so surf wax is for sticking. Curb wax is normally used for sliding with grinds, so it's slippery.

Surf wax = sticky

Curb wax = slippery

To make friends at the skatepark, start by being friendly and striking up conversations with other skaters. Show interest in their tricks or equipment, ask for tips or advice, and be open to sharing your own experiences. Participating in group activities or events at the skatepark can also help you connect with others and build friendships.

To take wax off a surfboard you need to leave it in the sun for half an hour, so that the wax melts. You can sometimes simply wipe/scrape it off with a wax comb or a butter knife carefully. To get the last remanants of wax off orange oil works well (with little orange man picture on front). If it was a surfboard you could try a little turps, but i would use turps sparingly on a body board as it coulc eat away at the foam,

Building a quarter pipe is very hard. You have to have the right tools and the wood has to be bent just the right way so it doesn't break. It would be easier to order online or go to a sporting goods store that might have one.

Step1 Decide on the kind of plan you want. You can buy inexpensive plans to build a skateboard mini-ramp, or sketch out your own plans.

Step2 Plan the size of the skateboard mini-ramp to build. Most mini-ramps are 8 feet wide and a bit over 2 feet tall.

Step3 Find a large workspace for your plans and tools. == Step1 Place a piece of 3/4-inch plywood on a flat surface. Draw a straight line up the right-hand side, measuring to the highest point of the mini-ramp. This is usually about 24 to 28 inches.

Step2 Draw another straight line out to the left toward the center of your plywood board, measuring about 2 feet. This is the deck.

Step3 Sketch a straight line along the bottom of the skateboard mini-ramp, about 5 feet. This is the bottom of the mini-ramp.

Step4 Connect the top of the deck to the endpoint of the bottom using a curved line for the ramp. It is a good idea to use a half-circle drawing tool so the curve is true. == Step1 Cut along the lines using a skil-saw so the curves are smooth.

Step2 Repeat on a second piece of plywood for the other side.

Step3 Connect the two sides with 2-by-4's. Make sure they are at intervals frequent enough to support the mini-ramp.

Step4 Use a single sheet of 3/8-inch plywood for the actual mini-ramp section, bending it to fit over the curve.

Step5 Finish rough edges.

After nearly 20 years and millions of quarters, someone has attained the unthinkable: a perfect score on Pac-Man. The world record was set by 33-year-old Billy Mitchell of Hollywood, Florida, during a US-Canada clash over the Fourth of July weekend. Mitchell took more than six hours to complete the game at the Funspot Family Fun Center in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire.

To achieve the game's maximum score of 3,333,360 points, Mitchell navigated 256 boards (or screens), eating every single dot, blinking energizer blob, flashing blue ghost, and point-loaded fruit, without losing a single life. In May, one of the Canadians, Rick Fothergill, came within 90 points of the perfect score while playing at the Funspot arcade, described as the world's second-largest arcade, with about 500 games. The foursome set a Fourth of July weekend rendezvous for their head-to-head competition.

Mitchell said he came very close to setting the record on the first day of the holiday weekend -- 1 July which, coincidentally, is Canada Day -- but a kid pulled the plug about four hours into the game.
