How do you olie with a skateboard?
Its simple really. All you need to do is not think about falling just think about landing back on the board. And alot of people say don't learn how to do it in one spot because you will have to learn it again but that's not true. First try to do it stationary like on carpet or a rug so when you land the board wont fly out from under you and if you fall its coushined. What you need to do is put your right foot on the back tail(end) of the board and your left foot on the middle of the board a little bit behind the front screws in the board and its the same if you stand goofy footed but opposite. Then after you do that you need to just push down with your right foot on the tail of the board(like if you were jumping in the air) and that will flick the board up into the air, then take your left foot that was in the middle of the board and slide it upwards on the board(like bringing your knee up to your chest) and that will level the board out in the air, then while in the process of doing those things bring your right foot that you jumped up with and slide it forwards a little bit so it lands on the board just about where the screws are on the back of the board and not on the tail of the board. So that would make your board level in the air and your feet level with the board so you land on the board. Im sure you will fail a couple of times doing all of this so keep on trying it over and over again and you will get good. After you get it down doing it stationary on carpet or a rug try doing it on pavement and after you get that down try doing it moving and keep trying at it and eventually you will do it like a pro.
