What was the fastest speed a skateboard attained?
According to sources I researched...Gary Hardwick of Carlsbad, California, USA, set a skateboard speed record (standing) of 100.66 KPH (62.55 mph) in 1998. He was wearing an Aerodynamic suit and helmet....
In 2007 Kevin Riemer pulled 127 kph out of his dropped speedboard skateboard, wearing leathers and a paragliding helmet. none of that fancy aero stuff. Kevin did not use vehicles to accelerate him only regular pushing (feet on road) and gravity.
Many have gone faster than Gary, but we leave the record in his name to remember him.
Danny way was pulled by rob dyrdek at 77 mph
Try using your left foot instead of your right foot.
Are steel toe boots good for skateboarding?
yes your feet dont get wet and they mke u lighter, also good ankle support plus if u rid over some nails they wont go thru your feet
Edit:
I would say no - as you lose a lot of feeling in the toe area. Toecaps are high and so it will be more difficult to get under the board and they will hinder you when doing tricks.

I assume its a world industries board? They used to be top of the range boards until they sold out * years ago and started making cheaper boards. the quality of the board is not what it used to be and the market for them has fell, and so you are better off going with another company if your looking for a great deck. If you just want a starter board then it's probably fine.

Is world industries a pro skate board company?
well, to professionals and experienced amatuers, world industries is not considered a pro skateboard company. this is because World targets the younger market, with colorful logos and characters. They make cheaper boards for younger kids who cannot afford them, and cheaper boards mean a less professional standard was used in the making. my first skateboard was a World, and yours probably was too.
