Can you freeze skim milk?

Yes, but it may take a while. If you freeze normal dairy milk it takes a while to properly harden, otherwise it'll just be soft ice-cream like ice with liquid in the centre. You can freeze skim milk but it will not be very nice.

Why would a 3-week old orphaned baby mouse suddenly become hyperactive and start losing hair in patches after being fed goat's milk or heavy cream diluted with skim milk?

EVERYONE knows about goat milk and babies. You can't feed 3-week old human babies goat milk either or they get hyperactive and start losing hair too. I tried it with my nephew and happened just like you said.

Actually, the reason is because goat milk contains antibodies that mice are allergic to. Their hair falls out because it is an allergic reaction to the foreign antibodies in the milk. The hyperactivity may or may not be due to the milk, or just because the mouse is getting older and more sexually mature. At 3 weeks old, mice are usually weaned anyway, so you should just start feeding solid foods such as grains (non-sugary cereals, barley, oats, hamster/mouse food from pet store).

Why will you lose weight if you use cream in your coffee and not skim milk?

You won't lose weight. Skim milk has no fat, cream is usually half and half, which contains a massive amount of fat. Fat = Fat. The only reason you'd use cream is if you're on the Atkins diet and are cutting carbohydrates. This is all well and good until you go into diabetic shock.

Why is skim milk called skim milk?

When raw milk is allowed to stand for a day, the cream will rise to the top. This cream was skimmed off and the remaining milk was called skim milk.

This method is no longer used in most dairies and a mechanical separation of cream and milk is used.
